skitch Posted August 25, 2008 Share Posted August 25, 2008 i was wondering if anyone could tell me where i could buy the wire that runs from the starter relay to the alt. the truck has the 2.5L. or could anyone tell me the specs on the diode that is in the wire so i could make the wire? Eagle Posted August 25, 2008 Share Posted August 25, 2008 There's a guy on NAXJA who posts as "5-90" or something like that who sells a heavy duty replacement for that wire, made of welding cable. I don't think there is a diode in that wire, I think it's a fusible link. Go to a marine supply store and buy a 100-amp in-line fuse with screw connections on the ends.
