Shane
I am putting 3 inch lift on my 89 MJ and I have decided that I wanted to run 31x10.50R15. It will be a daily driver with no major offroad. Maybe a little trail. I want a tough look, so what do you recommend? I do not want a street tire like is on there now. Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks again
Pete M
Just about any "all-terrain" tire should fit the bill.
BLHTAZ
We chose the Super Swamper TrXus MT Radial. We also wanted the aggressinve look for a DD truck that will not see offroad use and it rides very well.
WahooSteeler
If you want something that might fall between the street tires you have and the super aggressive TrXus Taz has, I have Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo's. An aggressive tread block for an "A/T" IMO, but they ride very well and are also very quiet. There are hundreds of choices obviously. IMO, tires appeal as much to individual taste as the wheels they are mounted on. Some just "fit the eye" better than others for each owner. But, the valuable part of the responses you'll get here relate to ride, handling and noise. Be sure to post up pics when you mount up whatever you get!
JeepcoMJ
my all-time favorite A/T's are Dayton Timberline A/T's they handle GREAT in snow, dry, wet conditions. the only issue I had with them was grabbing in loose gravel situations, after putting 20,000 miles on them. LEAD_NOT_FOLLOW
Maxxis Bighorn's. :D Wife runs them on her daily driven XJ, I run them on my sometimes driven XJ as well as my trail-only MJ. Best all around tire I've ever ran (and I've ran just about them all). Good deal on them here.
