If gas were to cost what it did 5 years ago, there'd be no problem. You live about an hour 45 straight up 250 from me, but nowadays that'd be $35 in gas.

Good luck, though, and stay safe!

 Great job!!

I have got to get a welder. The last time I welded...mig & tig were not an option  . Guess I will have a little learning to do when I get one.

the guy that runs the 4x4 shop told me to set it up

draw an imaginary line thru trans output shaft and pinon and make them parell to each other

The rear pinion should be set at about 2 degrees low, not pointing directly at the ouput. It will raise up when you accelerate so it needs to be slightly lower to accomodate that.

when Pat and I SOA'd my MJ, we set the new perches parallel to the factory ones....that keeps the same pinion angle relative to the TC output.

Lookin' good bigD

BLHTAZ

both output shafts are parallel to each other

OK...so you meant that you didn't "turn it up". I took it as you made the pinion parallel to the drive shaft and the pics kind of looked like that too. Sorry if I misunderstood, but just wanting to be sure.
