Not sure what it could be but I'd have someone hold the key in start while it does it and test for voltage at the starter (little wire) and if theres no power, work your way back. I assume it was doing it before you replaced the starter?

Their not stock their 2 pioneers that just fit in the doors. I'm assuming their nothing special. Or did u mean the tweeters? I just grabbed them while the dash was out would aftermarket make a difference? Also whats 2/3 way mean? Thanks

So I got a 91 bare bones model that the previous original owner slapped a radio in. That got ripped out and I decided to mess with it later when I pull all the interior out. I thought about doing a sub and junk then said f it cause I don't need to spend the money on it. I'd like it to still sound nice though since I'm doing the work to start from scratch but I know nothing about audio. I did some reading but that sucked so was wondering if anybody on here had some knowledge, comanche specific too. I've heard "comp" speakers have good bass and what not but don't know what sizes fit without butchering stuff. The door panels have already been hacked and the B pillars are bulged from the PO stuffing some tall speakers in there. So here's what I have to start with: Pioneer head unit and door speakers stole from the xj for sale and I can solder junk. Also can install head units if thats considered a higher skill lol. Don't know if the 2 speakers are worth using but could use a better/bigger pair in the back? Also stole the factory under dash tweeters from the xj. They were covered in grinding dust.

Maryland. I'd like to find an amc one in the junkyard but will probobly cut one out before that happens. Only seen short beds even though there are a few mjs around here in the yards. Would you be interested in trying to roll it up and ship it?

Hey how do u like the monroes? I have the LTs on my xj and it rides like a boat. The new mj don't ride much harsher but handles way better with some old gas brand. Also what tire size is on ur mj?

The cluster with all the gauges including tach and the older style. The newer ones are red/white markings with a black background and the older ones have a blue/gray background and white markings. Idk when the switch was but I'm thinking 91.

Could u post a picture? I'm looking for the cluster with all the gauges and the older style (non red/black). Also shouldn't this be in the "For Sale" section?

I'm looking for the "full" gauge cluster with the blue accents instead of the newer red ones. The only ones I've ever seen are on my xj which the PO glued white faces over them. Name a price and I'm at zip 21015 Maryland.

Yea I ran my new 4awg battery ground to the dipstick bolt so the ecu harness ground directly to the battery. I still over look simple things. Yesterday I got water in my distributor cap which I previously sealed with silicone to prevent that and left the jeep to run home and grab the meter and spare map sensor.

Can you describe how it's running bad? Most IAC related problems are high or low idle. A lot of the time caused by bad grounds or a bad Tps causing the computer to do dumb $#!&

I don't have any advice on a good replacement as I don't trust anyones parts anymore. (Had a BWD Tps fail also) But I disabled mine by unplugging it while its idling and now when it starts it doesn't rev up or get stuck at 2000rpms like the renix are known for. It strated doing it again on my xj after fixing it twice so I said screw the IAT cause it never idled up while cold anyway.

That thing revs faster than my 4.0 now lol

The fsj stuff is alot bigger. You would have to do some fabricating and fiberglass work (obviously) if u really wanted it.
