Telescoping columns are nice, too. And while there is more $#!& to go wrong, I don't really mind...replacing a window regulator takes the same amount of work no matter what way you look at it. I'm loving my $200 crown vic with all it's power options...and real excited to finish the utility mj and have every option it has, too (though, I've had every option on it for a couple years anyways...)

Professional Jeep 2500 parts supplier from China

what kind of prices for a complete kit? everything for the front end, I mean... -
hope everyone is OK ...but then you fix the blue one, use the other one as a donor. btw, scrapped my '99 out yesterday. $290 in scrap with two junk axles, rear hatch, no side doors, two 4.0 blocks, and two junk aw4's sitting in it...

add cruise, then you'll understand luxury lol...
-
yes, keyless is even better...had it on my work vans, never got around to getting the remote programmed on the '97 that I sold, my '87 will have it with the '99 conversion finished, though...

windows and locks that is. I'm 4 for 4 on my most recent vehicles having power windows and locks (and cruise). makes life a WHOLE lot easier...and I'd rather fix one when it fails, than deal with a slowlly and steadily failing manual window regulator. anyone else feel the same?

1973 vw baja bug (no pics, sorry) followed by two sandrails, my first DD when I could finally drive was an '85 vw cabriolet, then a '92 vw corrado while I was building my first MJ (the 3800). yes...I used to be a vw guy. i've since cut my hair and tried to grow a beard to fit in here...

Take note of his location Pat... He's actually doing pretty good in his translation. meh. my canadian cousins speak english perfectly lol. but I guess I should feel mildly bad for being harsh.

isn't that like boy scout stuff? never did it...never saw a reason to, and surely wouldn't have done it past 8th grade... edit: that came off wrong. I don't understand it at all.

reguardless, the 2.8 wasn't internally ballanced until 1989 or so. it's not an upgrade...it's a trade-off for a minor improvement. get a 3.4 and bolt it in, you have an upgrade. replace a 2.8 with a 2.8...you've side-stepped without moving forward.

yep, quite a bit...all my tools are at work, now, except for some small stuff to do little jobs around here, and my backup air tools are still here...I haven't made progress on my jeeps in 2 weeks. may just wait til it's warm out. but, I at least need to finish the plow.

Well, after years of hearing about the hell my dad deals with daily at work, and being unemployed for several months, I finally bit the bullet and applied where he works. got hired sight unseen, no interview, no drug test, no nothing. just the owner saying "Phil, your kid can start on munday, $15.70/hour, dollar raise after 30 days". so, week into the job now. picking it up easy...never touched a semi before now, but it's basically working on a jeep, except a transmission swap is easier since we have the proper equipment to work on it (tranny jacks, etc.). we've been stripping IH DuraStar freight trucks and turning them into training units (clutch trainers, runners, teardown setups) for a diesel tech school...3 per day, and it's very easy, but high paced. they come in looking like this: and move on to this... then, to this this one is a clutch trainer (will never run again...it's sole purpose is to train techs how to do a clutch. I should have that paper certification, given the fact that I didn't even need to be trained to do it lol that' just one project. we pulled in a heavy load tri axle peterbuilt rollover today, stripped every nut and bolt, and we're gonna be completely rebuilding it. none of what we work on is "customer work"....the owner owns every single rig we do, then he sells them. which makes it sort of easier to deal with...only have to cater to one person's needs lol. best part...the perks. he throws away a TON of useful stuff. like OO gauge 25' battery wiring, etc. so, I guess I'm bragging...but I'm really just asking you to wish me luck. -Pat

first off... did you get past the 3rd grade? ....if you did, you must have skimmed by. your grammar is terrible. kudos for proper spelling, though. second off... the only good thing about ANY 2.8l is that it starts. it is a small car engine, and doesn't have the power to pull more. third off... I think by "firebird 2.8" you mean 1991 to 1994 chevy F body style camaro/firebirds with the 3.4l 60 degree v6...same block, internally balanced, more cubic inches.

Regrettably, this is the case...

... THAT'S YOUR PROBLEM air grinder? are you kidding me? get a pipe cutter and a file. better yet...watch this ... then try. it must be done like this...end of story. if you can't, won't, or don't do it like this, you aren't doing it right and if it works, you're lucky as hell. I know you can't hear the audio, but the visual will give you a good explanation on how to do it. when he breaks out the file, it's to clean the burrs off of the metal. you can't get a good cut with the air grinder. period. -
the 2.8 is the v6. if you have a 4 cyl, it's a 2.5l. the 2.8 is reliable...it will continue to run pretty much no matter what..but it won't ever run well.
