  1. My MJ was only supposed to need a water pump and starter when I bought it.When we changed all that we went to start it to find out the starter was not the problem. It makes a horrible grinding sound when you try to start it.We were thinking maybe the ring gear but what has us second guessing ourselves is we tried to pull start it but when we got it running it was still grinding. Anyone have any ideas what it could be if it's not the ring gear?
  2. Just type in Jeep Comanche in your search bar, you'll find all kinds of info. That's where I got a lot of info on the Manche.

My MJ has the 4.0l 6cyl, a header, ax15 tranny, 4 1/2 inch pro comp lift with 32" BFG mudders soon to be 33's.I love this truck. :D To give you an idea of the kind of rigs we wheel with here's a pic of a friends 85 Yota on 38 1/2" tires.

    Got Snow???

Last week here in Alberta we got the worst blizzard we've seen in over 30 years.Me, my husband, and the guy I work with all live 30 mins from home we we're told to go home early cuz things were getting so bad that they were shutting the hyways down all around us.It was snowing and blowing so had you couldn't see 5 feet in front of you. What usuallt takes us 30 mins to get home took us over an hour.
  5. Not all us Canadians are stuck on km's/h our old Dodge is in miles and we had an'01 Durango R/T which was in miles to.At first we thought the Durango must have come from the States till we found out that all R/T model Durangos are in miles rather then km's whether it's American or Canadian.Ours was Definately Canadian since it came with factory drive lights which are only mandatory in Canada.
  6. Hoping to make a trip to the Rubicon Trail and Moab in '08.I know it's a long ways away yet but when the time comes if there are any plans for that area, we'd love to make the trip out there.
  7. I HATE rocks Mud's really all we really have around here. All the trails will have at least 1 big @$$ mudhole on it. I don't clean it up. I still have mud inside my truck from september, and I let the rain/snow wash my truck. I only clean the electrical and rad. Hey Suicidal Penguin these wheelin' shots were taken at McLean Creek. Figure you probably been there to. WE LOVE MUD! :D
  8. Some pics of the MJ will be on soon my huby is doing some work on it getting it ready for wheelin'. As for fixing the toys my huby does most of it himself.

  14. It's the same thing here in Canada. At least in Alberta anyway.Only ours are government owned lands and the environmentalists are having a say in shutting our trails down. We've lost some good trails and 4x4 parks because of them.
