Do you remember what size bolts for the aluminum cover are? I'm switching from plastic and new cover did not come with bolts... -

Today I put in new linkage, wiper arms and blades to go along with my new windshield. Install took about an hour. Thanks to LEAD_NOT_FOLLOW for the DIY write up that made it really easy to accomplish.

Right on man. All I need is the panels, arm rests & window cranks. Oh if you have a visor clip one of those too. Other than that my interior is in pretty good shape. Let me know if / when you get your gray and we can work something out.

Which one? The good one is still in storage so it must've been one of the other ones. You were in rusty blue, unless you sold it already. :dunno: I will do that. I do have an account w. them, but it seems a bit inferior to this forum.

Yeah I have seen the ones at skips, the tan in the XJ is much lighter in color than the tan in my truck. When I called budget they said they didn't have any interior...... which i thought was a polite way to say he didn't want to check.... I did see you driving the other day, I was on my bike riding around alex while i was getting a new windshield installed. Yeah man we should sometime.

Looking to buy both door panels. They need to be tan. 56311 is ship zip. It would be amazing if anyone had a pair just laying around. Cheers

I see. Well thanks for the quick response, but I am going to have to pass. I am just going to keep my eyes peeled and try to get both panels at the same time.

:wavey: Hi there, I am interested some of the tan trim you have available. Looking for both door panels, and a visor clip. That would be awesome if you still have these items. 56311 is shipping zip. Let me know.

Thank you. I am not sure exactly what the x trim level is... Could someone chime in here???? As far as plans for this truck I am going to try to keep it clean and stock looking (no lift for this bad mamma jamma). I need a new windshield first and foremost. Second is wiper motor and / or linkage (passenger side doesn't move). Third I am going to to the bench to buckets conversion & check floor pans (have the seats but no center counsel). Fourth I need tan door panels. Fifth install cd player I got for Christmas. I want to do all of these before summer. Lastly before next fall / winter I need to re-paint it... I know it looks pretty clean, but I have significant clear coat peeling on the front end. I have the idea in my mind to do a two tone black orange combo.... But I have plenty of time to change my mind..... Ideally I would like to get my hands on a second MJ and use it for hunting / winter driving..... I guess time will tell

Hello all, My name is Aaron and I too am from MN. I work in alexandria and live nearby. I have been browsing this forum for a couple of weeks now. It is pretty amazing. Well I got the itch for Jeeps as soon as i saw this little buddy on CL a couple years back. Its been my DD for a little over a year now. It has 113k miles on the odometer, and 13k on the rebuild.... Starts every time and runs like a top. I originally got this rig to be my hunting truck and DD, but I am currently scouring for a new option for a hunting rig b/c of the direction I want to go with this 86'....
