  1. What the title says Edelbrock is making performance heads for our 4.0's! http://bangshift.com/general-news/new-products/jeepers-rejoice-new-edlebrock-performer-jeep-cylinder-head-just-looking-info-photos/
  2. Yes!! Mine has like... 4 big rust holes in it
  3. I just had to add my new bank to my paypal. Said it will be pending for 2-3 business days before I could use it to pay for shipping.
  4. I lived with my Stepdad for about 7-8 years before I joined 18Aug2013. My stepdad was a Master Chief in the Navy for 25 years before he retired and moved in with my mom and I. I was pos and a pissed off teen, lol, and he said I was the 1st person to ever talk back to him. We really didnt get along and we argued alot because hes bipolar and i was angry too much but he is a good guy.. I joined the US Army in August 18, 2013 as a 13B "Cannon Crewmember" and when ever I got yelled at in BCT, I wasnt bothered at all by it. I think its because of living with my stepdad. lol But I stayed under the radar for about 8 out of 10 weeks until the DS caught on me staying under the radar and they planted a brass shell casing in my wallet and accused me of steeling it. I saw the DS put it in my wallet and I was more pissed at them then scared by them. After graduating BCT and realizing the ranking system and knowing what a E9 is, I had alot more respect towards my stepdad and DS's. Him and my mom knew I would like the military and I do. Him and I have a better relationship since I got in. The people that make up excuses to not join, shouldnt ever be in the military. They can't handle the stress that goes on in rear D, or down range. The Army is down sizing fast, this year alone, my Battery kicked out around 10 people for stupid little and big stuff. And the people that do the Stolen Valor stuff.... :thwak: :fs1:
  5. So the XJ neck will work after modifying it? or a direct swap?
  6. I believe I asked years ago if any of you guys knew where I could find another filler neck for my MJ. And I think yall pointed to the JY... Years later, that trip still never happened and my filler neck is still a rusty piece of metal wrapped up in alot of layers of tape. My question is, can I use a YJ filler neck? They look the same to me.. but I havent seen my Jeep in a year so I may be wrong. If I can't fit a YJ/XJ/TJ filler neck on this, ill try to get one fabricated up and get a locking cap for it. I think thats the pricey way to go about this. TY in advance!
  7. Mudflaps.com is the same price
  8. I really am thinking about putting together my own lift. 3 or 4.5" Which brand do yall like best for coils and shocks? I'm thinking RE and they are the most expensive. But you get what you pay for I guess.
  9. Thanks for showing me these!! Probably gonna get these instead!
  10. I know not to buy Rustys suspension or was it the control arms for their crappy joints? I havent heard anything bad of their bumpers or skid plates, etc. I wasnt gonna get the rears because I know they won't fit and I have a flatbed MJ. I like the TJ rear fenders idea, looks great. I was looking for protection from impact then wheel cover
  11. Has anyone here have seen or own Rustys Steel Fender Flares? I'm really interested in them, looking like they could actually protect the MJ. http://www.rustysoffroad.com/new-products/rustys-steel-fender-flares-xj.html I cut all the rust off my Jeep years ago, so my wheel well is sitting pretty high with nothing covering the tire. 3.75 backspacing wheels. I know it will be cheaper to build my own but I don't have the skills or tools available.
  12. Mine broke and I ordered hood pins asap.... year later I just found this thread lol
  13. I always wanted them ever since I drove my step dad's TJ with RE 4.5 EF Short arms. I Just wanted smoother ride and flex. When I drove his TJ, It almost felt like it was gonna roll, really stiff and tall feeling.
  14. Thanks for the help offer! Is there anything wrong with RC 4.5 kit front half until I get long arms??? I didnt know Hell Creek still made leafs, Ill check them out. Can I use long arms or just adjustable lowers instead of drop brackets? And I already have steel braided brake lines for a 6" lift.
  15. Just thought of this RC or Zone 4.5 but also order Rustys 4" leaf pack. Good Idea or bad?
  16. I'm baaaack! I been gone from this site ever since I lost my job in 2012 and stopped everything with my MJ. I been in the Army for a little over a year now "13B" and can now afford to do what ever I want to my MJ =]. My Mj has been sitting for about 2 years now. WHen I parked it, it ran perfect, just the rear brakes were shot. Last Christmas I got new drum hardware and installed it, I left to go back to training still needing to install the brake hard lines. Before I'm having my MJ shipped from NY to Ft Benning GA, I'm having the brakes finished and a small tune up, Ill finish everything else once it gets here. But the main reason why I started this post is to ask yall for your opinion. My MJ has the stock 1990 suspension still on it and its sagging like crazy. I'm looking for a 4.5 lift and I'm wanting the leaf pack instead of add a leaf for I know it will sag back down with in the 1st year. I been on google for the past week looking for a company that sells a kit with a pack but all I can find is Rustys. I never read a good review about them. I looked at Zone, Rough Country, and Rustys, I don't know who else is out there. I'm wanting to stay SUA because of axle wrap and I'm wanting to tow a some what small trailer "bugout/camping/boat" in the future. Id like to get RE but SOA, and I don't want to piece together a lift. Thanks in advance
  17. Finally, going to try to thaw out my MJ "has been burried for weeks in snow" tomorrow in the garage. I really hope its just the U-joint.
  18. Soon as all this snow melts or the grage gets empty, Ill try that u-joint.... I backed the Jeep towards the garage today and its a clunk noise while diving at a constant speed and a "roaring" noise while backing up..... IDK.
  19. Hey, I havent been on in afew months.. been very busy. Back now! lol I just moved to NY from NC yesturday. It was a 14 hour trip and my Jeep MJ made it with no problems right until .5 miles away from the new house. My rear axle started making a "clunk" noise. It is still driveable but the noise is constant. Do I have a reason to updrade my rear axle yet? Also.. I spent $140 in gas from NC to NY.... is that average for a MJ or really bad? Gas price $3.05
  20. few questions... do you have any idea off the top of your head? 1# 40" from bottom of bumper? 2# And do you have to have a front bumper? "" I don't have a front bumper""... 3# 86" outside tire---outside tire? Thanks for clearing that up for me.
  21. This reminds me of the newer style Toyota Tacoma's aka Tacos. Small cab, small bed.
  22. I'm just going to be done with this. don't need help anymore. Need more positive threads.

  24. Now he is talking ShT about me on his channel.... I did nothing to the guy and he is making me sound like a A- hole... Going to keep being nice/polite i guess and hope it turns around on him.
  25. http://www.4wheeloffroad.com/techarticles/suspension/131_1010_lift_laws_you_need_to_know/viewall.html I read them on here years ago and IDK if they changed or not. Does anybody know the NY Lift Laws? I want to put full size axles and still be a DD. IDK if thats still possible.
