  1. I read its good for high end hp but is it too much back pressure? I have a LWB and my tailpipe is really long 2.25. I'm guessing from my headers all the way threw the Flow Master Super 44 its 2.5. Out of all 3 of my Jeep MJ's, I never had a tailpipe. Its crazy quiet and I'm just worried its too much back pressure and i don't wana break anything
  2. Thanks man, I'm gonna try that too
  3. I need a LWB set. Whats the Hitch slider?
  4. The ccv on the front of the VC is oily, and where it's connected to the back to side of the airbox,it's oily . The hose on the rear for mine, is VC to intake manifold. I believe I only have 1 liNE going to the airbox
  5. I got a oil catch can because my filter gets soaked in oil between oil changes. I deleted alot of vacuum lines and Had to buy a new hode for the CCV to the airbox. So its the OEM gramet/plastic hose, slides into a larger rubber hose that attaches to the airbox. Can I take the plastic hose out of the CCV gramet? Or will it brake? Should I keep the rubber hose over the plastic pipe and just tap into the rubber hose? I'm going to lowes/home depot tomorrow and I'm bringing in the whole CCV system with the catch can lol. I'm finding fittings. This will work one way or another.
  6. I would think Lowes or Home Depot would have a kit for this case. To grip the broken bolts enough to get them out.
  7. We do have a Auto Skill Center, but we can't use the welder, the civilians have to do it. And my unit is disbanding in December. I havent been in the motor pool in 2 months and we don't have anyone that can weld there anyway. Id have to get a shop to make and install it. I wana go with Nates.
  8. I just bought a vacuum harness NEW from Advanced Autoparts few weeks ago. Hit them up. IDK how much they have in stock still. I'm thinking its a rare part noone makes anymore
  9. I now have death wobble " I know how to fix that", I know I'm at 3/4th tank, and the fuel gauge bounces from 3/4 to waaay past full, and my airbox stopped blowing. I mean it randomly blows, its weird. Main thing I need help with is my fuel gauge.
  10. Recently I found out why my Jeep acceleration sucks. 3.07 gears in the Dana 35. I'm finally going to lift my Jeep with RC 6.5" around Christmas. Should I wait to install the lift until I can find/get a 8.8 or D44 with gearing towards 4.10s? Or regear the D35and just weld on the perches?
  11. I know they won't do much or anything in a tbone. And its better then nothing... But I been bottoming out on the body lately, and I need to start uparmoring the jeep since I'm starting to take it out on trails more and more. I emailed Nate after I read reviews on how it took 3 months for people to receive their products. Nate said, 3 weeks for me. I like his design alot. Ill check out Spadano enterprises too
  12. I been wanting to get a set for the LWB MJ, and I only found 2 company's thst takes forever to make them. Yesterday, after playing with the Jeep on some trails on ft benning, coming out of the trail, I almost got hit by a small car that ran off the road and crashed into the woods. It freaked me out. And it makes me wanting to get rails even more. I can't make my own because I live in the barracks and I can't weld. If I was going to go custom, how would I have very strong rails made? How much would the price range be in? It would be easier to find some bolt on or did style and pay a garage to weld it together
  13. I'm not sure if it came from the factory like this or what. My 88' Pioneer lwb, came with 2 bucket seats and I'm guessing a bench seat shift lever/4x4 lever cover console thing, with nothing in between the seats. I got a oem center console from one of you guys here on the forum and I installed it in my 90' Eliminator, and I didnt like it very much. So I'm wondering what else is available out there in the aftermarket center console world? Anybody have one? I'm about to get a universal locking one from ebay or walmart. Extra security and cup holders lol
  14. That sounds right about the speeds and shifting. My 90 Eliminator can accelerate in 5th at 40mph. Idk what ratio thst is either, tabs too rusty. I been 110 mph in that eliminator the day I bought it. Downhill interstate lol. The GPS said 110. I do want to swap d44's locked front and back with 4.10 ratio with 33" someday. Hope I can atleast get the rear axle soon.
  15. Jasper 4.0 5 speed 30" tires 3.5" lift Id have to guess 3.07 gears or something low like that. The tag is missing on both axles. Its a pioneer lwb with d35 and, idk if its oem, trailer hitch.
  16. My tailpipe fell off on the way down from NY to GA. It was dumping after the cat. I now have a Flow Master Super 44 on it dumping at the beginning of the bed. Could be the stock headers and down pipe? or the cat?
  17. Ever since I got my 1st MJ 10 years ago, being 15 yrs old at the time, I been getting my car parts from Lowes or Home depot, junk yards, engineering my own fixes, and they work!. Because I know these are old, the rare new parts gotta be expensive. I'm about to come down on orders and going to have to move anyway. I got OEM extras I need to sell
  18. Has to be less then 50k on this engine. Been over looked by several garages and can't find the problem. ANd had many overhauled tune ups, changed everything, and has good compression. Why do Jasper engines suck? Their is NO power. I can barely go 65 mph steadily on the interstate with 30" tires and 3.5" lift. Driving over a curb, almost stalls every time. aka no low rpm torque. The engine will run forever and is reliable atleast. Soon as I get out of the Army, I'm swapping over my 95k mile 1990 Eliminator engine, That has 10x more power then this Jasper engine. End of rant/question lol
  19. And ___? I still have it, I didnt know how valuable it was.
  20. Its the vacuum harness minus the CCV pipe.
  21. While I was at AdvancedAutoParts yesterday, I was curious and asked if they had the vacuum harness. I was surprised they did and I'm going to pick it up this morning for $23. I'm just going to use the CCV and I guess toss the rest of the vacuum lines cause I deleted alot of them already.
  22. On my 88' my CCV just loosely sits on/in the VC. Oil is everywhere. I already asked my Jeep dealership if they can order me a new one, and they said they don't even make it anymore. I did research and found out that I could get a 91-94 VC, Felpro VS50458R, and just swap it on and I should be good. Am I missing anything else? Can I fit any other year HO VC on my 88 Renix? My junkyard has about a dozen HO except none of them are 91-94s.
  23. I'm replacing my cables and the bolt that attaches the negative batt. cable to the block, loosens. It spins the batt cable and 3 other harness wires attached to the bolt, and they are stuck on their. I know i solved this problem before. Like 7 years ago lol. I can't remember what to do from here. HELP please!~!
  24. Yeah it was for front or the rear. Their are alot of complete d44 for sale on ebay
