  1. Could somebody take a pic of there rear axle with the break lines/hoses showing, please? A pic with SOA set up would be best. I just want to see what its suppose to look like. Mine is covered in rust and a hose is almost cut in half from rubbing on a metal piece.
  2. Back up light and painted!!!
  3. Old Jeeps are better!
  4. New bumper for my flatbed MJ!!! and LED taillights!!! 48"x8"x1/4" thick! with 30" angle iron on the back for support. Sand Blasted the brackets too, rusty/ old under coating. 2 cans of flat black paint on brackets and bumper when it got home. Next, angle iron along the sides and wood for the bed floor then roll cage over the bed.
  5. Thanks much for that diagram!!!!
  6. I'm subscribed to this build! Also, I just ordered the Rough Country Drop Brackets like, 1 hour ago. lol
  7. So you used a DMM on the wires for the tail lights? I have 8 wires for 1 side, and the LED light only has 3 wires. Will be fun.
  8. Really like how your MJ is coming along  I have the same exact LED lights as you have. How did you wire yours? Do you have a thread?
  9. http://boston.craigslist.org/sob/cto/2795351221.html Just trying to help this guy out.
  10. Whats the biggest lift I could go using stock CAs with Drop Brackets? This jeep is a "Mall Crawler" until I get Long Arms. I almost have my entire lift together, I am needing the lift parts on my MJ AsAp, because the stock parts are failing right now. Shocks are dead, and I don't have rear breaks "hose has a hole in it". I don't have $700 for Long arm upgrade "yet".
  11.

  15. I pretty much have the lift together: SOA, I'm guessing 5"-4.5"JY XJ coils. Thinking about Drop Control Arms. Until I can afford Long arm Upgrade. 33" tires. and finish the rust! Look like this: http://www.axialracing.com/ftp/scx10_honcho/index.html
  16. Well my E brake doesnt work, and my gas tank isnt even 1 month old. I thought it was way harder than that. I called my friend which is a metal fabricator, he came over and said the easiest way to do what I want is to just cut the walls off. I told him that I wanted to keep the bed, but he said it wasnt worth it because of how rusty the truck already was. SO I cut 1 wall off sofar. He told me to leave him some metal to work with, just incase i cut too much off the first time. http://www.axialracing.com/ftp/scx10_honcho/index.html
  17. I have unbolted all 8 bed bolts. I have to undo the gas tank and breaks from the bottom of my bed? Am I missing something? I thought it would be easier than this to remove a bed. So i got the idea of bolting the bed back to the frame and cutting the floor out of the bed. And that would be my flatbed base. But I really don't want to cut up a perfect inner bed:
  18. I still want the Wood floor bed but this cage around it. Just needs to be made real life scale. lol http://www.axialracing.com/ftp/scx10_honcho/index.html
  19. Alright, I havent seen the JRC web site. Forget about Rustys Offroad. http://www.jcroffroad.com/Merchant2/mer ... y_Code=XJB
  20. I like this Rusty's Offroad bumper. I don't think they make it yet. THey make a rear one too. http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid= ... =1&theater
  21. I was thinking more of the Ebay seats. The seats kinda hug you. Like they curve around your sides.
  22. Anybody got any installed in your Jeep? What company do you recommend? I rode in my friends Mitsu. Eclipse with racing seats with 4 point harness threw out the years and I love the way the seats and harness feel, so I now want them too in my MJ. He dosnt know who made his because they are off-brand.
  23. Is the bottom one yours too? I really like it! Is the floor wood?
