  1. i've searched and was unable to find an engine block heater for the 4.0 Renix. Does anyone have any information on this? Yes I know it is 90 degrees outside. this has been on my "to do list" for a long time. Any other Winter ideas to do now? Thanks! BOB
  2. Had this same problem awhile back with my stock engine. Replaced everything in the coolant system. Turned out to be a clogged cat. how do you know if the cat is blocked? BOB
  3. usually when I get a greasy rag from working, I try to wipe the parts clean before putting them away. so far, so good. PB blaster also has an anti-corrosion spray. A tip I got a number of years back. A carpenter friend gave me a bunch of scrap cedar woods pieces to put in my toolbox drawers. I never had a rusty tool piece to deal with after that. coincidence? BOB
  4. I bought a set of these for my 87 MJ, and they replaced the old ones (almost) perfect. I timmed a little (1/4 inch or so) lengthwise. otherwise, it has connections for three wires and pops right in. just like the originals, you press on the light and it comes on or off. pretty cheap too. (ELP 2011) about $25.69 shipped BOB http://www.infiniteinnovations.com/main.asp?p=4_179
  5. if I were to pick colors, I'd go flat black with Grave Digger green. That green is awesome good luck and have fun building it. BOB
  6. I usually stay at The Attica Inn it is clean and costs about $72.00 two beds and ice cold a/c tell them you are running at the Badlands. Reservations are recommended it gets crowded somtimes. I also ask for a room facing the parking lot. it is closeby, and you don't have to air up to get there. FOOD - I recommend Robies It is a bar/restaurant. Good steaks, chops, pumpkin pie BOB http://www.theatticainn.com/ http://www.badlandsoffroad.com/default.asp
  7. I'm OUT have to work that weekend. can't get out of it. :headpop: BOB
  8. How do you like them? Have you compared the JCR bumper to the Nate's? Look's like for a comparable design front bumper, JCR is about 2X the cost of Nate's. The JCR bumpers are solid. great welds. I don't kmow anything about Rigid bumpers. Nates, I had problems with communication with them when I bought a diff protector from them. great diff protector, poor communication. Brian has been great to deal with. I am installing their upgraded steering system this Saturday on my Cherokee. BOB
  9. I have a rear bumper from AJ's I have a front bumper from JCR BOB http://www.jcroffroad.com/Merchant2/mer ... y_Code=XJB
  10. it must be caused by a combination of things. I replaced the IAC and it helped. until....it got cold. Then it did it a few times. but, not as often. and, if I turn it off and start it, it'll fix itself quicker. or, so it seems. BOB

    Co2 tanks?

All you need is a "single" regulator. I also got my five pound tank here. all delivered, about a hundred bucks. a lot cheaper than a Powertank and just as good. BOB http://www.beveragefactory.com/draftbee ... 3011.shtml http://www.beveragefactory.com/draftbee ... /co2.shtml
  12. Here are a few of my interior. A pimped out headliner. It really isn't as bright as it seems. A shelf with a K40 CB. click on the picture for a few more pix the light is a marine light. A bright white light, and a red light for seeing in the dark. It is pretty cool, no reflection on the windshield. BOB
  13. stock axles and gears. I want to go to 4.10's puke goat 5-speed. However, has't been a problem yet. plan to go AX-15 when is does go bad. I have a 3.5 RE lift, extended shackles. BFG Long Trails 31x10.50x15 on black Cragar soft eights BOB

  16. A friend of mine and I used to have a 69' Baracuda with the same paint job when I was a teenegaer. If I remember to scan a couple of photos of it I will post them up. The MJ does have a pin-stripe. It is small and it is "barbed wire". It is just sticky tape for now. BOB

  22. the Badlands campground is pretty crappy. Summers Campground is about 7-8 miles up the road. they welcome Badlands people. Showers, and plenty of room. I may just stay at the Attica Inn. a/c and a nice shower in August, may be worth the money. BOB Summers Carroll Campground (765) - 762-2832
  23. looks like you had a good time. I just found this post. NAXJA is headed to the Badlands this weekend. Our Midwest Chapter should have about 15-20. I will keep on eye on you GLXJ site and try to make an event. BOB
  24. I just completed my complete rebuild. body work, paint, grille, flares, tars, stereo, CB. I will be calling my insurance agent soon. I beleive they have an agreed value policy. you pay premium based on the stated and agreed value of the vehicle. In case of an accident, they don't ding you on the value, due to age. BOB
  25. Nice score is right! my luck, I'd break a part that I don't have a spare for BOB
