  1. when i bought the truck it only had back brakes and it was because the prop. valve under the master was froze. so i replaced it with a working one i had. bled the brakes and tryed it out , they we soft. ok no problem replaced the master, bled the master and all the lines again. tryed it out and had the same thaing happen, it was soft and went to the floor. took it for a drive and if i was going 30mph and stomped the brakes it would slow down but would not stop, it would slow down alote but then it would roll to a stop. with the truck off the pedal felt fine and was were you would want it but when it would be running it would go down so i pulled the vac hose off and ran it like that and the brakes worked great. put the vac hose back on and the pedal would go down and the truck would not stop like it should :dunno: thanks Jon

  3. The back shoes are tight so it's not them. And if I do a wj booster do I have to change masters?
  4. the booster? why ? isent it a rod that goes all the way thru the booster and into the master :dunno: sorry i just don't understand :oops:
  5. yes i did bleed the master by using the steel lines and i bleed the brakes like they say to know what :dunno: thanks for the replys Jon
  6. Hi I'm having trouble with my brakes they work but only when the pedal is down at its stop. so i put a new master cylinder on it, bleed the hole thing and its still the same :fs1: any help would be great :yes: thanks Jon

  9. Got it fixed the tps was bad. Replaced it and the truck runs and drives great again :yes: Thanks for the help :cheers:
  10. Ok I got the plug on the fire wall cleaned and the small white plugs on the side of the tranny clean. Nothing's changed :headpop: is the speed sensor replace able and what does it look like? Thanks Jon
  11. Will I cleaned the neutral safety switch and it still the same. I had a scan tool put on the truck and it said 1 The brakes were on and the trany was in 1 (the brakes were not on and it was in park) :dunno: 2 the tanny was not getting an rpm reading? What sould I cheak now? The crank shaft sinser?
  12. Thanks :yes: I had know idea that the neutral safety switch did all that. But I'll test and probly have to clean it tomarrow. And it may of got mist on it but I never put water right on it Thanks for the help I'll try this and let you know how it works out :wrench:
  13. Hi I got a new mj and the trany shifted great but the other day I powerwashed the underside of the jeep and now the trany don't want to shift like it did befor. It shifts at higher Rpms :help: any help would be great thanks Jon

  18. yes but can't get them all the way on and yes still won't come out and it leaks oil now so i have to get it off thanks
  19. it was a 5/8 but my 6 point socket made it in to a no point bolt I'm going to try filling the egeds to a 15mm seem to be the next size to fet if not i make to sides flat and use a adjustable renche hope for the best
  20. will i tried taking it off like it was a normal bolt it moved just a hair and know the bolt is rounded off :headpop: :headpop: :headpop: does any body know what to do know?
