  1. Are reservations for the campground accepted or needed?
  2. Thats awesome, I am looking forward to going. Does any one have a count of how many we will have at the Badlands that day?
  3. So I have never been to the Bad Lands, what is it like, what kind of trails do they have? All my off roading has been done in Tennessee, Kentucky and Virginia. I have been to Haspin in Indiana a couple times, I sure hope the bad lands are way better than Haspin. From what people say about it, it sounds like it it going to be way better. I am always looking forward to going some where new so it should be fun and to get to wheel with other MJ's just makes it that much better.
  4. I am going to get 35X12.50. I have never really liked the look of the 10.50 tires. I want to try and find a set of plain steel wheels like this one. I am sure that I would have to order it with the size I want.
  5. I am thinking about buying new wheels when I upgrade from my 33" to 35" tires. I am going with an 8" rim. What back spacing should I go with?

    Gas Prices?

$3.49 around here! But diesel is $2.75 for my F-250!
  7. I would like to see as many pics as you feel like taking. I am planning to do this with my MJ also. I would like to see as many pics as possible before I start on mine.
  8. August 11th works for me. I am looking forward going to the badlands, I have never been there before.
  9. Any body have any suggestions of where else we can meet up for an August 18th ride or should we change dates and keep it at the badlands?
  10. Charles, a couple friends and I are going down to Harlan County Trails from June 7-10. You are welcome to come join us. Tim
  11. Does any one have any ideas of other places that we could meet and ride? Is there anything else remotely close or centralized for everyone that is planning on riding? I like the date of the 18th, that seems to work well for everyone.
  12. Should we go somewhere else or pick another weekend?
  13. With all that going on, is that going to be a good weekend to go? I noticed on thier website that the rock quarry is closed, I guess for what ever they have going on.
  14. I will be there and I will be coming over Friday night and either driving home Saturday night or Sunday morning. Does anyone know how far it is from the east side of Cincinnati? My buddy will be coming with me in his YJ. We are planning on a trip down to Harlan the second weekend of June, have not been there since August of 2005. I can't wait. It will be my first real wheeling with the MJ. Last time I was there was in my CJ-5. Tim
  15. I'll throw out the first date, how about August 11th or the 18th?

    Dodge Ram 2500

I have heard some bad things about the auto transmissions from different people, but they all have been with gas engines. Do the gas and deisel 2500 ram trucks share the same auto transmission? The truck is in really good shape. It looks sounds and drives like new. I am going to go and look at it and drive it again today.

    Dodge Ram 2500

I am looking at a Ram 2500. It is a 2003 2WD. It has a cummins deisel engine with an automatic. It has 75,000 on it. It is is really good shape. Does anyone own one or have any advice on what to look out for. This is Obvisiously going to be a tow rig for my MJ. Any input would be great. Thanks Tim
  18. Thanks for the link for the cage. I can't believe he is selling his XJ. He has had that thing forever. We will have to hook up this year and get out with the two MJs. Its rare that you see 1 MJ on the trial but to see 2 of them would be really cool. I had mine out to Big Rock last month for its first trip and it was awesome, even though there wasn't alot to do there. It is quite differnt from my old CJ-5 with manual transission and Carburated. The wheel base is awesome compared to 83" that my CJ-5 had!
  19. Yeah, I know Jerry, but I don't think I ever met Andy. I know Brian Watson also. They are part of TKO aren't they? I used to belong with Ohio River Four Wheelers along time ago. Its been along time since I rode with them though. I mostly ride with 4 of my buddy's from work when ever we can. Don't get out as much as we used to though. Your MJ looks great. Did you bend the cage or buy it pre bent? If you bought it, where did you find it? Tim
  20. A couple buddys and my self are planning on going down on the 5th of May to check it out. I was curious to hear how it was. Tim
  21. 89MJay, where did you go wheeling? Tim
  22. I would be interested in badlands this summer. When this summer? Tim
  23. I will have to take some pics of how I attached to the frame. I will try to get those in the next couple of days and post them. No plans for air. I already have an air tank mounted in the bed. I have about $45.00 in the front bumper and that includes the metal which was just a straight peice of rectangular tubing that I bought. That also includes sand paper, bondo, primer and paint. I have about 10 hours in time building it. Tim
  24. Not taken the wrong way. That is what I was going for. A bumper that was simple, fairly easy to build and strong. Time was a big factor, having two kids takes up most of that!
  25. Here is the latest addition to the MJ. I just finished the front Bumper. I made it out of 4"x6" 1/8" rectangular tubing. I am planning on a rear Bumper and rocker protection as well, you can see in the first few pics the metal for that. My digital camera is old, some of the pics are not that good.
