With the new press I’m really interested to see where this goes. My main gripe with the gladiator is that I wish it had the I6 or the Hemi from the start. I’m really excited to see what Dodge will do and hopefully we return to form with some solid offerings.

My only thought for the hand brake is if it could be moved to the Pedal style that the MJ has (Not sure how that would convert). I have no ideas other than that.

I would agree, although my starter issue was a really poor connection and you had to yank on the wire to get it to start.

From my understanding I think they are built with the same tooling? From my view if its from the same tooling and manufacturing process I'd consider it a new year model of a Willy's MB, albeit a "reproduction". I love the idea of it arriving in a crate, shame they can't airdrop one

Does this mean I need to find speakers which match that resistance? Or is it scale of which 8 or under is preferred?

I found and will soon have one of the factory RX-172 head units. My question is if an amp would be required to run it along with the speakers I have to get at some point. I don’t know much about sound systems so I’m out of my element.

This might be a dumb question but did the 4.0 change the valve cover design? Will the HO ones not fit on a Renix?

I'm curious as to what you all have done in terms of the intake and exhaust. I have an 89 Renix and I've been mulling over in my head about what options I have for headers and a new intake. I'd like to return to OEM for the intake and remove the cold air intake currently in my MJ. The exhaust had to get repaired awhile ago when I first bought it and needs to get redone. So I'd like to hear opinions on different headers and exhausts if anyone is willing to share.

It's been a while since I've seen one, but I did spot one in a random driveway the other week. I literally slowed down enough to look and see if it was a Comanche (It was). I then pointed it out to my girlfriend who was in my gladiator (The new one) with me out of excitement and she couldn't understand why I was excited at seeing one. The addiction is genuinely strong with these trucks.

Recently, while on break from school I got brackets to mount the sport bar to my long bed. In the factory service manual it mentions a gasket that sits between both mounts where the bar will bolt to. I've seen a couple solutions, but I've never experimented with TPU yet on my 3d printer and this seems like a good opportunity and hopefully a viable one. I have the ones that go to the wheels modeled, but not the ones that go to the front on the frame. If anyone has those measurements by some random chance that would save me a lot of time.

Hi all, In planning my parts list for my rear disc brake swap I have run into a roadblock with the backing plates. I've heard a lot of conflicting information about it and what seems to be the option I want to take is to swap in rear ZJ brakes since I have a Dana 44. I'd like to get new backing plates and parking brake stuff since I'd rather them just be clean and reliable. I also want to take the time to refresh the whole system due to its age and its more economical to do front and rear at the same time. With this in mind, what backing plates should I be looking for and is this brake kit compatible with my 89? (The kit is for a 95-98 Grand Cherokee).

I’ve been doing a ton of future planning in my free time. Doing my own research and figuring out how this build will progress over the years.
