  1. are you using injector o-rings or generic o-rings?
  2. The biggest question is..................hows the rust? A truck that has lived on Cape Cod in the winder must be quite rusty. But it looks to be quite clean. Nice find!
  3. ^^^ thtats what I'm going to do with my spare XJs door.
  4. You should go "mudding" in it before it dries. Put some TSL tracks in there, instead of hand prints :D
  5. Yup, I thought that was cardboard...thanks Colton ;) And Mitch, if you want to make a good floor, go to Agway or some other place that sells farm stuff, and get some stall matt. Its like 1/2 inch thick and comes in 4x8 sheets. Heavy as a mofo though.
  6. Thats the stock one. They all have that bracket. 8) You made a mess of that cardboard. What did you do??
  7. Did a little flexing, and got that side shot Mitch wanted. Notice that it is doorless on one side. Soon to be doorless on both sides ;D It doesnt look like the front is that high off the ground...but it was. I ripped my pants getting in. Notice also that there is no suspension action going on in the front. Thats all rear, with the stock shocks too! I'm having an issue with the drivers side e-brake cable maxing out. However, it does so when the passanger leaf becomes inverted. I need to get some bumpstops on this thing before I destroy my leaves and the e-brake cable. :D

    custom header?

Why not get a Wagoneer front end and just put a Comanche grille in there?
  10. 1. Drill 2. Patience 3. Good drill bit 4. Patience 5. Tap 6. Patience no...I don't have THAT much patience...but its a tried and true method if you can get a drill to them.
  11. looks nice. any rust damage?
  12. Sorry to hear that CW. Its been just about a year since my grandmother passed. Its still weird to see her house when she isnt living in it. Is your dad going to do some wheeling with that or just a driver?
  13. 33x12.50 TSLs come this summer!
  14. My new shock mount...its not the greatest I know, but I hope it will do for now.
  15. purdy garrage
  16. How about you stop posting pics of your garrage. My work space is a dirt driveway that dips into a puddle. :headpop: j/k...Looks great!!
  17. don't worry. I'm 20 too and have 4 vehicles...all Jeeps. 1 drives, 2 are projects and 1 is parts. NO WAY I can afford to have them on the road. I'm sad to admit that I don't even pay insurance for myself..
  18. I wish Al Sharpton could do the same thing for Don Imus. Anyways...don't get rid of all the MJ's. Keep at least one 400th post!
  19. Dude, where in southern NH are you?? I'm down in Pepperell, MA. Could it be a controll to a heater valve or somthing? It looks like its a cable with a spring on it. Can you follow where it leads to?
  20. Pat, I hope you can get everything solved quick and painlessly. Legal things can really wreck a person. :redX:
  21. Put a poll up on JF or NAXJA and ask which axle their XJ came with. I'm willing to put money on that after 1993 more XJs came with the 8.25 than the D35.
  22. I was contemplating not putting in the overload leaf when I was rebuilding my packs, but I ended up doing so. I'm glad I did because after the SOA, the overload leaf is touching the next leaf up at both ends...without the help of the overload leaf I'm sure I would have less height and more spring wrap like Pete said. :USAflag:
  23. The NSS plug us up by the tranny dip stick, and it runs down and is attached to the AW4 on the passy side near the top. I butchered mine when putting it on. It works though, thats all that matters. What ever you do don't break it when taking it off. They are close to $200 to replace  .
  24. from my observations the newer ones mostly have 8.25s. My 1995 does, and a guy in my club who has a 1994 had one.
  25. Will do JeepcoMJ!! Thank you for the encouragment!
