    ok, here's mine, not yet removed, previously owned by a Chevy dealer mechanic, he's to blame for all the hillbilly repairs, including the pinched vacuum line off the carb and blue painters tape covering another vacuum. The carb is a Rochester VaraJet II

    question, I see a lot of pics with fog lights usually square ones on the front bumpers and looks like this bumper had something at one time, were they factory lights or just done by owners and what type were they?

    Just got a new tinted windshield installed for $275, included new rear view mirror and some sanding primer/paint repair to some under windshield rust repair, no holes. Labor and all, shhhhh cash no tax

    actually, unless my research is wrong, the Rochester E2SE is for the 2.5, I pulling it right after they install my windshield tomorrow, it's bugging me now

    I've seen some of the Webber knock offs, but it seems the mounting is incorrect, like your gasket pictured and I think the oem is offset wider at one end not sure as I haven't removed it yet

    I guess first thing is to remove it to see exactly if it's rebuild-able and exact model carb, right after new windshield installation tomorrow

    Not that I can't rebuild carbs, just wanted to know what kind of replacements are out there.

    Not sure yet, haven't taken it off, PO de-nutted all the emissions to including cutting what looks like a metal vacuum line coming from the front lower bottom of carb, it twist around, been pinched off 6" away, I mean literally side cutters pinch and bend lol.

    What's the best not overly expensive carburetor for the 2.8L for my 86 MJ. So far the only ones I found were in excess of 400 on RockAuto

    My new to me 86 Comanche XLS 2.8L 5spd white/red bucket seats. Always wanted one, finally got one. Will update with more pics and thread details as I go.
