Hey guys just an update! Floor is almost prepped for floor kit and welding. Today, put the new valve cover gasket after ordering the wrong one on Amazon. Luckily, auto zone had one for $21 bucks. Installed it after cleaning the original glue from the old valve cover gasket. I made sure to add threadlocker on the screws (the old screws were really loose).

1988 Jeep Comanche Pioneer 2wd 4.0 Liter Straight 6 / AW4 / Original AW4 transfercase / Dana 30 front axle / Dana 35 rear axle Build date: n/a West Palm Beach, FL She's running steady on the street! She makes a reversing beep! Skid plates with old skool extra reverse lights, original bumper with some add-ons, and the interior color is red seats with tan interior. Buckets cloth seats, column shift aw4! Currently the new owner! -Jon

Hey Guys! I'm down in South Florida, just snagged a 88' Comanche Pioneer for cheap last week! I'm super excited, I'm a big fan of Comanche's. Can't wait for the journey. 88 Comanche Pioneer -2wd Aw4 (doesn't catch in drive, gotta start on 1st) -Floor pan rust (both sides) -Toolbox -Headliner needs work -Dash cracked -Orignal rims -Back window seal leak I'm excited to get to work honestly. I'm taking baby steps and doing it right. Gonna restore, weld, drill and paint my way into a restored Comanche!
