  1. just wondering why u would run it through a relay instead of directly to a switch whats the relay do? :nuts:
  2. kind of off topic but my mj only has a spring over and coil spacers and when i pulled my motor out the rear driveshaft fell out, its stock length just wondering if this was normal?i was also planning on doin a sye kit once i added a set of rusty's 4 inch leaves to the spring over but apparently this isn't necessary would just a lengthened cv style shaft be suficent for my lift
  3. i ordered a pacesetter header its cheap but better than a cracked manifold. i couldnt afford the ceramoc coated one so ill probably wrap it with some of that tape thanks for your help though

  6. does anyone know of someone who makes headers for the 88 comanche i can't find any. It wasn't realy a big deal till i realized the my manifold had 2 cracks ON THE # 5 AND 6 CYL i was finishing up the motor to finally put it in the manche :mad: . What a bummer! i don't wanna spend another $300 especially without an increase in performance any help would be appreciated. is it alright to weld the manifold?
  7. will definetly check out sherman parts and as for the flat deck, the beds already off the frame (or what remains of the frame) and a flat bed wouldnt be a bad idea but i just really like the way the comanche looks with the short bed. If it makes you happy though a sledge hammer was involved in bed removal
  8. i've got a short bed comanche and there is a lot of rust over the wheel well and on other places i was wondering if it would be possible to weld in rear quarters from a 2 door xj or at least most of the quarter panel any ideas?
  9. Goodyear wrangler mtr's are the best wearing tires ive ever seen and they also have a reinforced side wall

  14. any one know how much i should torque the head on my 88 4.0 also wondering wether or not i should use gasket sealer on my head gasket? any info would be appreciated P.S. expect alot more questions like these, I'm only 17 and just got my new mj. My knowledge is limited and sometimes i get my self in over my head with these projects.
