Downey Products tonneau cover
JohnQ replied to JMO413's topic in MJ Tech: DIY Projects and Write-Ups
Just tried to buy one. Website lets you put it in the cart but that is it. I waited too long, I should have bought one last year. Might give the tonno pro cover a try. -
Thank you

Looking for a part number to order Bilstein shocks for the front of my comanche. Extended length needs to be around 28.5”-29”. Anyone have a 7-8” lift and using Bilstein shocks? I have 5.5 RE coils and ACOS spacers set as small as they go, about 1.5” with TnT long arms. I emailed Bilstein but haven’t heard back from them yet.

Well I took off my dash and inspected everything. The only thing I found was evidence of something snacking on some seeds. No screwed up wires.
-
Still can’t get power to the darn green wire on the thermistor. Checked all wires visible without taking the dash off. No damage. Everything looks to be in good shape. Even changed the hvac switch. Nothing. Next step, pull the dash and see what the rest of the harness looks like.

Thanks guys. I will try and find out why I’m not getting power to the switch tomorrow. I appreciate the help.

So if my ECU isn’t sending power to the thermistor then I need a new computer?
-
Reading through the 88 version that was shared earlier
-
Any idea where that power comes from?
-
I swapped mine out with a spare I had. Same issue. I ordered a new one but still waiting for it to come in the mail. I don’t have any power going to the thermistor plug. Ac on/off doesn’t get any power to the connection.
-
I have tried 5 different relays. Same results. Maybe the problem is in my ECU?
-
Also tried pin on right side no power at start up either.
-
No AC relay installed. Power to 87 only with ac switched on. No power to 85. Power to 86 with jeep running. Power stays on with jeep running. Standing by passenger fender 85 is on the right and 86 is on the left?
-
Getting power to 86 when running and power to both when the ac is switched on
-
Where does power to 85 come from?
-
I only get power to 87.

Need some help. I tried searching but I haven't found anything to help my issue yet. I have a 1989. The AC has not worked since I've owned the truck (6 years) and probably for a lot longer. I have all new hoses, compressor, condenser, dryer, expansion valve. Factory evaporator. My AC has been leak tested and charged by a local AC shop. They could not get the AC compressor to come on by normal means. They had to jump it to charge the system. Through my trouble shooting I have verified that I am getting power through my low pressure switch and power is getting to the AC relay. From there nothing. I can not get power to the Compressor plug. Relay has been verified to be good. I swapped the thermistor with a spare. Same issue. Bought a new thermistor (I hope its the right one) but waiting for it to come in the mail. I can jump the terminals in my AC relay plug and the electric fan and compressor turn on. Any idea what else could be wrong?

My 2012 Challenger is fast, but not compared to the Hellcat. I love driving my car, there are some blind spots but I've learned to manage.

I now have 3. I just put a deposit on one yesterday. Now to make time to go and get her.
-
I need the little rubber thing he return line. I couldn't find one anywhere. I'm still hoping someone has one they don't need.

Anyone have a stopper from a fuel sending unit? I am currently replacing my gas tank and mine turned to goo!

Hi Bonkers. Very happy with her, with no plans of selling her ever! Keep checking in, I will be adding the new lift and hopefully some paint and body work soon. I have been in and out of Africa the past year. I put the tires on but not anything else yet. I will be home at the end of August and I will be sourcing somewhere to help me put the long arm kit on. I am also looking for someone to get the paint and body work finally done. I changed my mind about the ARB bumper a few years ago and sold it. Latest pics I have with the new tires on her. I spent some of my MJ budget on my new daily driver!

How To Completely Ruin A 92 M J
JohnQ replied to HOrnbrod's topic in Craigslist/eBay... i.e. Not Your Stuff
I like the way it looks, but I don't like the leaf springs. -
I'll take one.
