  1.
  2. I seen this one in Tennessee a couple years back. I'd drive it! :D
  3. Just some random pics of my two MJ's.
  4. I still have to find a place to buy them.
  5. Anyone ever run tractor tires on their trail only rigs? I'm thinking of getting a set of 9.5-16 AG tires and mounting them on a set of Rubicon moabs. They are a 33.3x9.5x16 tire.
  6. I sure could use a new hat! :D
  7. Hey JohnQ think you can get a good picture of the drive shaft and axle flange? I can get you one tomorrow. I'm at work until 2 am.
  8. Picked up some new shiny dust caps today. I don't think it looks too bad.
  9. Here is a better pic of the header. Let me know when you get a chance to check on the shipping.
  10. What do I need to put the dana 44 out of the 89 2wd, onto my 88 4x4? Will I have any issues with my driveshaft?
  11. 2003 Jeep Rubicon "Moabs" :D
  12. Won't work. The entire header has to be changed to use the newer style grille. I will install it on one of my grilles on friday. it is identical except for the addition of the trim edging that's on our older rigs. the only difference is that you have to cut some of the older header panel out behind the corner markers in order to make it work. if I find that that won't make it work either, then John, I have the rest of the trim pieces that you would need regardless to make it a complete truck. but they're kinda surface rusty (or theyr'e at least faded grey..can't remember) I think the header I have is a late model. I will have to pull it off and see if I can find the manfacturing date. I know the wire harness has two plugs in the middle by the grille.
  13. Old thread, but I have the same issue on my new 2wd 89. I'm trying to put my extra liberty rims on her and the factory dust caps stick out. Has anyone measured the dust cap? Are there shorter dust caps? I really hate to run spacers. The BFH won't fix it either. Theses are the only pics I have. You can see where the dust cap sticks out where the wheel center cap goes.
  14. I was looking at the pictures I took of the new truck last night. Do you guy's see anything wierd?
  15. That sounds better. Hook me up with the 94 style. I'll send you a PM with my new address.
  16. Here she is. Don't you just love the pin striping! Not bad for $500, 100% rust free. I am swapping the rear dana 44 with my 88's dana 35, and robbing the AC system. Put my liberty rims on her this moring, but the front grease cap is in the way.
  17. Thats what I just picked up. Got her home last night. Will post up some pics later on.
  18. Cool I just bought one for $500. :D Driving up to Arlington tomorrow to get it. Not sure if I am going to restore this truck or rob parts for my 88. Now I need to find a car hauler. Does anyone know if U-Haul charges by the mile for a trailer or is it just one flat rate?
  19. Could a dana 44 be factory in a 1989 swb 2wd truck?
  20. I needed something I could haul my 2 kiddo's around in with all the darn texas heat. My comanche is factory non-AC. My Rubicon was getting 8 mpg and was a B*tch to get my kids up into with the six inch lift and 35's. The comanche is going to be just a toy. I also have a 2004 4x4 liberty that is the wife to be's daily work car/family car. I miss my Rubicon, but I won't once my comanche is all done. Plus I got a really good deal on the Dodge. I bought it used. It's a 2006 with 13,000 miles on it. Back to the tires: I found this truck on cardomain. The guy is running 285/65/20 BFG all terrains with the leveling kit. I like the look and the price is alot cheaper than the mud terrains.
  21. Sure you can. My wife to be does it from me all the time! :D I have a slight spending problem and live way beyond my means.
  22. I think I like BFG KM2's. They come in a 305/55/20! :D
  23. That's what I have planned. Now I need to find out if the factory rims will have enough back spacing for 12.5 wide tires. I've found three possible tire choices: BFG all terrains, NITTO mud grapplers, or Toyo open country MT's. The BFG's are going to be the cheapest. What do you guy's think?
  24. Do you guy's think a 33x12.5x20 will fit on my stock wheels?
