  1. Thanks guys!
  2. Finally got my dirtbound rear bumper in. Got it painted today, will hopefully get it installed next weekend. I love it! VID_73640608_230725_164.mp4
  3. Yeah I'd rather it work backwards than not work at all lol
  4. Idk about Utah but in Florida you can pay a few extra bucks and walk out of the dmv with a title.
  5. And it was all during covid shut downs so it was a pain in the @$$ because they were seeing people by appointment only and they were hard to get. Ended up taking me weeks. 🙄
  6. I had so many issues getting mine on the road legally. I don't know about Utah but in Florida you have to have it insured with proof of insurance, and a title thats in your name or correctly signed over to you. And then they have to verify the odometer reading and the VIN in person. With mine a guy sold it to a guy who sold it to me. The original guy filled out the title wrong, and the second guy never registered it or transferred the title. I had to contact the original owner and he was kind enough to fill out a new bill of sale directly to me so that I could get it registered. Then they had to verify the VIN and odometer via a mobile notary because she wasn't running at the time so I couldn't drive her up there. I ended up at the DMV 3 times 😒 First time the title was wrong, second time I didn't have the vehicle for verification and the third time I finally got it legal. It was a pain. Hopefully yours is less stressful 😄
  7. Thank you! I ordered the rear one like 2 months ago. But dirtbound is behind in orders because they were moving locations. I waited for the stimulus to order the front so I'm sure it will be quite a while before it gets here.
  8. I washed it for the first time today. My weather stripping is trash (waiting on my replacements to arrive) so I was worried my cab would be wet. I read a horror story on here of someone's not starting after the first wash so I was nervous. But the cab was dry and it fired right up after. Used my stimulus (😄) on replacement carpet, a Raybuck seat cover, new lights for the cluster, weather stripping kit, wiper arms, a new rear view mirror, and those interior lights above the seat belts. Ordered today and now we wait.
  9. That's funny. I don't even know what the MPG is for mine. I've read 14-16 but I feel like that's probably not right?
  10. Yes lol I'm currently using the pen and paper method, which gets old quite quickly 😒
  11. I'd like my gauge to work though 😆
  12. My fuel gauge doesn't currently work, when I had it looked at for diagnostics at a local shop they said my sending unit was bad. The only reason I was replacing the pump was because I'd already be in there and figured why not? But I'll do more research on it!
  13. I was planning on lifting it anyway so I'll probably just address it then. Thinking about doing the interior first and saving the exterior and lift/rims and tires for last.
  14. I'm sorry, not behind the cab, under the cab? I'm not sure exactly. But I think it might be the rear main seal? That's what I've been told. But I'll find out next week. Also took her on the highway. She's good up to 55 but at 60 she gets a little shakey. I read that it might be the tires out of balance? Gonna have to look more into it.
  15. Took her for the longest ride I've taken her on since I got her yesterday out to my parents house. Replaced the oil seals (which were basically non-existent) cleaned the bearings, and repacked them. Not a big deal but its part of the process so here it is 😄 ordered new dust caps that will be here this week, along with new wiper arms. Its rainy season here so I gotta make sure I can see! She goes to the shop this week to get oil leaks fixed. They say it's the front by the timing cover, but it's also leaking onto the exhaust directly behind the cab. I asked my father to help me figure it out and he said it would be worth it to just pay to get it fixed because thats a "pain in the @$$". 😄 when she gets back I'll be dropping the gas tank and changing the fuel pump/sending unit assembly.
  16. Out there working on it yesterday and it looks like it's on the flares closest to the door side.
  17. My one and only successful trip so far got me a grille, front trim for around the lights, a steering pump cap (mine was broken), and a tailgate. I was most excited about the tailgate because I was sure I wouldn't be able to find one. I didn't have many tools with me. I was shocked to get a notification that they even had a comanche. When I got down there it appeared that it had been there for a while and was pretty well picked over. Next time I returned it was gone. They haven't had one in the area since. They had some XJ's but they're all newer.
  18. Mines currently pending in my account, but hasn't cleared.
  19. I'll have to get out there tomorrow and figure it out.
  20. Thank you for the tips! I'll definitely check out that thread, and those sources! Appreciate it
