  1. I haven't tried to narrow it down or figure it out yet. I just know it rubs when I turn too sharp. I hadn't gotten there yet lol
  2. Thank you! I had no idea. I have to figure something out though because as much as I like them, the rub. No U turns for this girl 😬
  3. I just saw this! Sorry. Thanks 😊 they were on it when I got it. I think the guy said they were off an old TJ.
  4. I was lucky in the beginning. A local junk yard actually had one. I got a lot of trim pieces and little things I needed from it but it was pretty picked over. That's where I got my red tailgate. Once I realized the MJ and XJ were pretty interchangeable I had a lot better luck though lol.
  5. When I first got it I tried to call the local jeep dealer in search of a part and the parts guy actually laughed and was like no ma'am that's discontinued 😆
  6. Thank you! Replaced the O2 sensor earlier this year. Thanks for the information, I was curious if the bench was stock. I guess it is lol
  7. I got my MJ from a guy off Craigslist in my area. He had already started fixing it up but was moving to Hawaii and couldn't afford to ship it. I honestly have no idea what I'm doing. I saw a truck with "jeep" on the tailgate down the street from my house, googled it, and immediately wanted one. I was super lucky to find one so close to me. It is in good shape. I've been told by mechanically inclined family that it has minimal body work done/needed. It needs a lot of cosmetic work though. Looks like it started out maroon, but all the trim/grille pieces were bright red. The previous owner spray painted it black, and the trim/bumpers silver 🤦🏻‍♀️. So far she's got an oil change, new plugs and wires, distributor cap, map sensor, cleaned the throttle body, replaced the vac hose harness, new idle control valve, air filter, and throttle position sensor, painted/replaced grille and light assembly trim, new headlights, new parking lights and blinkers, new starter, new O2 sensor, new temp sensor, recently replaced the drum brakes and wheel cylinders in the rear, all new disc brakes/hub assemblies and calipers in the front, new brake hoses, new master cylinder, bled/flushed the brakes, new wheel studs, upgraded ground/battery cables, injectors, new power steering pulley and new serpentine belt. I'm currently waiting on my new front and rear bumpers from dirtbound to arrive, and I have a new fuel pump sending unit assembly that I'm trying to find time to install. Hopefully I can get to it now that the holidays have passed. I eventually want to do new rims and tires, and I'm contemplating a small lift. I want to do bed bars in the back. I currently have two tailgates. A black one that is my "around town" tailgate. It's black and matches the truck but its dented up, has a little rust, and a big gap. The red tailgate is in better shape and will be the one I use when I get to body work/paint. I have an oil leak and I'm thinking of taking it to a local place to get fixed. Everyone I've talked to said it's a pain to do and I should just have someone do it for me 😄 The interior is clean...ish? I haven't decided what I'm going to do with it. I need new carpet, new visors, the bench seat needs to be reappolstered, and there's some holes in the door panels that I think I may put speakers in. I haven't had a lot of look finding interior stuff. All the weather stripping needs to be replaced, and both windows will roll down but won't roll up 😄. Need to replace the front and back glass and the wipers. I'm rambling. I'm sorry. This is Valerie.

  9. I have a 1988 Jeep Comanche. I haven't had it long and I have no mechanical knowledge 😄 Running on YouTube and Google to help with it so I can't answer much about it. It's a 2wd, automatic, and I've got the 4.0L in line 6 (renix). It's a short bed. Body is in great shape, and it runs and drives. I've done some work to it, and have a few more mechanical things to do but nothing major left. Mostly little things and cosmetics. I'll eventually do more mechanical updates and upgrades but currently just checking things off the list of problems it had that the previous owner knew of. I saw a guy down the street from me with one and liked it. I was lucky enough to find this one online. I updated the lights and grille/surrounds, currently waiting on a front and rear bumper to arrive from dirtbound off road, and have a lot of other things in mind for it. Sticker with the build date is faded and damaged, can't see the date. Located in Jacksonville Florida. Black with Camel interior, bench seat, vinyl, column shift. 81,907 miles. I currently have it, it stays at my home, and I have a clean title for it. Tagged and insured.
  10. A new front bumper 😄
