  1. Have a few cable I need Identifying with. Any help is appreciated. With the radio wires, I see the "AMC" wire harness but plugged into those 2 plugs I see another 2 type of harnesses. Are the second set of plugs the current color coded cables newer radios use? 1986 Jeep Comanche X 4WD GM 2.8L V6 Front: Stock Dana 30 Rear: Stock AMC 20 Los Angeles CA Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

  5. Ok. From all the info I've read and correct me if I'm wrong, I can just remove my 86 2.8l V6 and drop a 3.4l v6 right? And swap the carb in and mechanical fuel pump, sensors and wires from the 2.8l? Plug and play? Has one of you guys done the swap on your 86? 1986 Jeep Comanche X 4WD GM 2.8L V6 Front: Stock Dana 30 Rear: Stock AMC 20 Los Angeles CA Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

  7. I have the 86 comanche 2.8 V6. In the future I want to upgrade the radiator to a 3 core aluminum radiator and a heavy duty fan clutch. Can some who has done this or knows about this guide me in the right direction. I was thinking something like getting a radiator for an 85 s10 since. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

  17. Previous owner wanted $1500 7 months ago Reach out to her and asked about the Jeep still being for sale. She said $900. I went the following day to see it. Asked if they want $900? They said they'll take $800. I offered $700 and I'll pick up the following day. Now its mine. Previously it had been parked since 2008, so I was told but that it was running before it was parked. I towed it home and put a battery in and some fresh 91 gas. Eventually I got it to turn and it purred really good. I then realized it was leaking coolant. I found it leaking between the motor and the transmission. Freeze plug??? I also did an oil change when I caught a strong smell of gasoline in the oil. Leaky/bad carb??? That's where I'm at at the moment. Want to get the cooling fixed and possibly have the carb rebuilt. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
