I saw this today and it looked pretty good if you need me to go back I would gladly. I have made a lot of molds in my life. I’m really considering casting these rubber door moldings I just purchased. Everyone seems to be missing them and they are easy to make. Other plastics I have seen here don’t really hold up with age. Injection molded plastics are really a modern marvel.

The more I learn, the more I understand how special stock is. I'm curious what is in bounds for within stock upgrades and alterations? I recently purchased 10 hole jeep wheels but don't know if thats considered a non-stock upgrade. Even though they are OEM they did not come with my sporTruck. I just want to make sure I keep things period correct. I want to basically get it to a showroom stock jeep, but really don't know whats in bounds.

Well I got two the others were really damaged. One has some scuffs if I find a good deal on 2 it be awesome.

been in lot for less than 24 hours. Already the interiors been destroyed.

I have standard steel wheels with caps. I love turbines but don’t really see them come up at all. At 22-50 a wheel for these it’s hard to beat. Not really educated in the rarity of some of these. Are these wheels worth a two hour trip?

I ordered the 746s, seller sent the incorrect item. I messaged him and he told me to leave him positive feedback fist. Than he would exchange/ refund. I called ebay today and they told me it was a common seller tactic to get rid of disappointed buyers? I messaged him I was uncomfortable moving forward untill he sent at least a label. He refused and I got ebay involved again, they said they would return my funds because the transaction is not completed. Have to hope so.

So when I contacted ebay they told me he was trying to basically close the transaction without refunding/ exchanging the item. So I did end up getting stuck with the fuel injectors :/ so if you want them I'm posting them for sale.

Thank you guys for the well thought out responses. I think keeping everything as OEM really is a great idea. I really enjoy getting everything to be as original and reliable as possible. When reading about upgrades, I realize they are somewhat rabbit hole, if you do one thing, usually something else is compensating. At the end of the day it ends up being a different car all together. I love to camp and take long drives, but I'm not doing anything crazy. Iv worked in art restoration, and it gives me immense pleasure to get things back to the way they were. I look forward to doing little changes to make it more reliable ( c101 future delete ) ( headlight harness) etc. I just want to keep it as mentioned above, 1988 Improved. I worry about all the people on the freeway texting half the time cause my jeep is so straight. The money I got to buy my jeep was because a semi truck merged into me, I was in the hospital for 3 days. Had PT for 6 months before driving again. This car it holds immense sentimental value to me already. Some guy at a stop light in offered me 8k for it already, couldn't think of parting with my Jeep.

I work from home so I don't put on as many miles as I did my old car. Was thinking of buying a car cover? ordered a dash cover and sunshade!

Good Afternoon everyone, I wanted to ask, as we go into summer. If you guys enjoyed a specific car cover/ sunshades. My car is parked outside, in the heat with no AC. When summer approaches there will be 90+ days. I’ll be fine cooking, but my JEEP. I feel horrible, I bought it from the first owner who really took care of her. I want to keep it as nice as he did. Everything for the most part is original. thanks,
