  1. Alright few more pics of it. Its a Dana 30 / Dana 35 for anyone wonder, was the first thing I checked when I got there. Driver Headlight assembly has been taken as well as passenger side mirror. I took the hitch and the bed liner. Also replied to emails and pm's already. And Roy according to the door it was an April 1992 build date.
  2. mmmm I need stickers........ Must contact wife and beg for sticker money. She's already approved parts money this week, so this will be fun. :fool:
  3. Ouch, look at my Want to Cry thread. I'm taking parts off of a 92 in a junkyard that was cash for clunkered I can check their pricing on the tail lights if you want. viewtopic.php?f=3&t=22295
  4. Here's the VIN for it: 1J7FJ26S6NL24 If you want pictures of specific parts let me know. Planning on being there early tomorrow morning. I'm already getting the hitch off of her. I know one person PM'd me about the Fuel Pump/Sending Unit with pigtail wire on its pricing and pulling. And WahooSteeler wants info on the bench seat. Any other requests? Besides Roy's Build Date :D O WahooSteeler, I'm passing on the tires down in Churchville. I had misread his ad and thought they were M/T's but they were A/T's. Found some M/T's down in Alexandria to get. PM me a number or email to send a cell pic of the bench to you.
  5. Figures the Ranger one is too short. Grrrr so much for a $100 deal.
  6. Here's a picture of her my wife took with her phone: And it does have a red interior from what she said.
  7. I'll get some pics of it this weekend, a lot of it might end up in my garage. i've been on the lookout for a maroon bench and i'm only <90mins from Winchester. so if you didn't need or want the bench, i may be interested. if you could find out the price that would be great. doesn't even have to be maroon if the frame and foam seam to be in good shape. thanks for any help. No problem, I'll check it out for ya. I'm looking at some tires/wheels down in Churchville and would probably head down there this weekend so it might work out for both of us. I'll let ya know.
  8. I'll get some pics of it this weekend, a lot of it might end up in my garage.
  9. Know what you mean I only need 5 minutes to get it out of the yard. Could even leave a frame and engine in it's place. :rotfl2:
  10. Not sure the actual build date, but the VIN is a 92 MJ VIN. She's already left the yard, I'll be back up there Saturday to pull things off of her.
  11. I'll measure it when I get home tonight.
  12. Guy told her he couldn't sell the engine or the frame. I don't need to retitle it. It can be a trailer queen  I can find 4.0L's all day long to put into it. Techinically it isn't whole if it doesn't have an engine or its headlight bezels...........
  13. My wife is walking around a junkyard right now and found a 92 MJ with C4C on it. Cash For Clunkers. 4.0L Automatic Bench Seat Longbed 4WD. Anyone know the rules on them selling the parts off?
  14. Alright have the 86 MJ longbed 7', will a Ford Ranger long bed (7'3") fit it? My wife found a cheap one on Craigslist in my area and I'm not home to measure it out right now.
  15. Ok, I've had good experiences with Rough Country lifts in the past on XJ's and YJ's. So I'm most likely getting it again for the MJ quite soon. It has a recommended tire size of 31's, do you all think I would be better served going with 30's over 31's? I know on the other lifts the 4" lifts said 33's but I ran 32's to fairly good effect. What's your all's experience?
  16. Yup this is my 2nd 2.8L engine, the first was in a XJ. I took it fearlessly quite a few places. So what if the Gerbils pushing her were wore out.
  17. Same medication for any Jeep. This is my 6th Jeep that I've owned. 1994 XJ 4.0L 1986 XJ 2.8L 1991 YJ 4.0L 1974 CJ5 1979 Waggy 360
  18. I'm partial to Artic Cow myself :rotf: RIP Cow Beast '86 XJ
  19. I like it and I have a spare front bumper I could practice on.
  20. Well just picked up my first MJ this weekend and decided to signup here as well. 1986 Jeep Comanche 2.8L V6 4x4 85k on the clock Automatic, Bench seat Just gotta do the brakes on her to get her inspected and on the road. Next year she gets antique tags. Plans for it: Mild lift run 30" or 31" M/T's and some new bumper for the front for a winch ready, and one for the rear for a 2" receiver (any recommendations for manufacturers?).
