  1. Between a D35 and a Ford Explorer 8.8?
  2. NVM, I have an intact bell housing attached to my AX15. Donor vehicle 96 Cherokee. I read that wrong and posted it, before really thinking about it. My apologies!
  3. Bell Housing. For this swap we will need a new bell housing: AX-15 will not bolt to the BA10's bell housing. IS THIS TRUE? And if so, what will I need?

  5. My truck is 60 miles North from me.
  6. All I know is, the previous owner told me that it needed a new motor. I have yet to drive the truck (other than, the short drive when I went to go see it) after that, I went to pick it up, on a u haul and then park it, at a friends garage. This friend is doing the tranny/t-case swap for me, as I was on light duty from a workplace accident, so I am paying someone else to do the swap.
  7. What wiper motor is used on an 87 Comanche - Laredo and is their something called a wiper motor transmission utilized? Please advise!
  8. What is the proper sized battery for an 87 Comanche, 4.0 liter/4wd and how many CCA? Please advise!
  9. Not gonna happen. I plan to either convert the front diff to 3.73 or both axles to 4.10, running on 33 inch tires.
  10. I was informed that I could run, mismatched differentials, as long as the front diff was, for example 3.07 and the rear diff was 3.73 is this true?

  16. 1987/Jeep/Comanche/Laredo/Survivor Inline 6/AX15/23 Spline NP231 (1996 Cherokee, parts rig)/D30/Ford 8.8 w/disc brakes/Future 4.10 gearing/long bed. Build date: Long gone. Pennsylvania/Pittsburgh Status: On road/In shop/In restore mode. Notes: Exterior color is currently, Rustoleum green primer <--- previous owners decision. Will be returned to original color Charcoal Grey. Interior, Beige <--- will likely be reuphoulstered to grey. 105,000k miles on it. Originally purchased in NV. Current owner: Yours truly.
