    I tried it, but nothing changed. When the engine is turning over, the gauge goes to zero. So when it's off, it rests at 40, when I start it, it hits zero, and when I'm idling, its at 50.

    I changed the switch to a sensor. I used plumbers tape too.

    Hey. I just did a cluster swap on my 88 4.0 from dummy lights to gauges. So far everything is working fine except the oil pressure gauge. With the truck off, the gauge is at 40. When I'm moving, the gauge just goes up from there. Any ideas? Thanks.

    Sorry. 88 4.0 I6. I figured it out. Think it was a combination headlight switch and loose fuse.

    Hey everyone. I'm having issues with my interior lights. I'm not getting any courtesy lights, dash lights, or radio lights. My headlights and taillights work. I've already changed the fuse and headlight switch. What else could it be? Thanks.

    1988 Jeep Comanche Pioneer 4.0 I6 with 180000 miles Automatic 4x4 Long Bed Los Angeles, CA So excited to have finally got a Comanche after looking for over a year. This truck will be my daily driver and I'm hoping to do some longer trips in it. Just got new tires and it needs an engine rebuild. I'm new to this world so I'll be on here a lot!

    Hey all. I've been trying to buy this 88 Comanche for a couple of months and he hasn't been able to sell it to me because it won't pass California smog. He's replaced the O2 sensor, sparkplugs, wires, catalytic converter, MAP sensor, dist cap, fixed manifold gasket, adjusted the tps, and still won't pass. I don't have the numbers right now but I'll add them later when I get it. Any thought would be helpful. Thanks.
