  1. @Keyav8r I had planned on doing the ZJ swap for my truck but went the Teraflex route instead. I still have brand new slotted and drilled rotors, pads, hardware, etc. and I'd be happy to make you a deal on them. You'd just need the plates, calipers and lines I think.
  2. Been wheeling more than working on the truck lately. Thanks @Kyleinreallife for coming up this weekend to help me figure out my headlight issue and install the new Rigid Industries Trucklites. Build quality seems to be top notch, light output doesn't even compare to stock.
  3. thanks all. This is what I was looking for. Will let you know how it goes!
  4. Los Angeles here!
  5. thanks - is the style the same? not sure if that makes but they literally look identical from the top
  6. So my hood has a decent bit of damage from an accident the PO had. Does anyone know if a 98+ is the same as previous years? I have an extra and it looks pretty damn close.. thanks!
  7. thanks guys. Got it out all in one piece as far as restoring it, what's the best way to keep it together and clean off the old gunk? and should i put reflectix foil in first, then dynamat, then headliner board?
  8. Hi all, Does anyone have a guide or video on headliner board removal? Time to get this thing done. Thanks in advance !
  9. I'm not sure if there's a better place to post this, but wanted to share some shots from the last few weekends. We've had rain, snow, sun, mud, and just about everything else. Pics from Hungry Valley, Rowher Flats, San Gabriel OHV and fire trails in Santa Clarita:
  10. first mod- sold those ridiculous mud tires that the dealer put on and got a deal on method 307s and 35'' bfgs. These tires are phenomenally better then whatever the hell was on there before.
  11. After the wheel/tire combo I'll probably look at an exhaust. It's got an AFE intake already, which appears to be the only aftermarket mod. I'd like to get the deaton springs and rebuild the shocks before I jump into anything crazy. There's a lot more going underneath here than the wrangler or Comanche! Maybe some nice HID lights too. here's the intake:
  12. Well the time has finally come.. I've sold my DD for the last 3.5 years, a 2WD JKU, and have upgraded to a 2011 Raptor. Picked it up with 89k miles for $32k with a 30k mile/36 month warranty. It has the factory tow package and should be good for 8,000lbs. I need to find a trailer but I have to get used to how big this thing is first. It's been a lot of fun the last few days and really goes. I do need to get some new tires because these knock off m/ts are terrible in LA.
  13. yes. We were planning on going there Saturday but with the rain we want to go to Hungry Valley for snow and mud! Rower Flats is a ton of fun though. We're meeting at the Flying J gas station off of Frazier Mtn Park exit between 8:30 am and 9am Saturday morning. Come on out!
  14. that sand color looks really good.
  15. Hey all, I know this isn't a part of the forum that gets a lot of use.. but I'm organizing a trip to Hungry Valley in Gorman, CA with some fellow SoCal jeepers. Details to come, but wanted to see if there would be any interest here. Send me a DM if you're interested and I'll shoot you a text once things are locked up. The plan right now is to meet at the gas station at Frazier Park in the AM this Saturday, March 3rd
  16. Warn VR series winch installed. Looks great!
  17. Have gotten a few little things done - replaced headlight relay, put in the @MeanLemons cables and installed the JCR tire carrier, which has a license plate bracket and a light for the plate. The 31'' looks a little goofy because it's small, looking forward to getting 33s on here now!
  18. most important mod thus far. thanks @Pete M!!
  19. I love that steering wheel design. something about those rivets lol
  20. Lookin' good @Trailhawkmj!!!
  21. Right lol, throw up a picture for some feedback and suddenly everything gets personal I'm just happy to see companies putting out new products for the MJs. Wouldn't really work with my build, or garage, and $649 BEFORE powder coat is a little crazy to think about.
  22. huh! would've never even guessed. that d44 will look good with a new cover let's go wheeling soon
  23. JCR dropped the new roof rack for the Manche this weekend. $649 before powdercoat..so price aside, thoughts? https://www.jcroffroad.com/product/RCK/MJRK-P.html
  24. C.R. Laurence : https://www.carid.com/cr-laurence/c-r-laurence-duo-vent-four-panel-slider.html?make=Jeep&model=Comanche fit and build quality is great
  25. thank you very much. I had planned on trimming the rear fenders but opted not to for the time being. I did use a couple coats of bed-liner on the flares to bring them back to life and match the rocker panels. the front we cut and trimmed and fiberglassed the edges to top water and mud from getting in there. Overall it's help up pretty well but the rocker panels need a a refresher.
