1991 Jeep Comanche Eliminator
JordanTMiller replied to JordanTMiller's topic in Member Projects: Your Comanches
Scored a killer deal on a used bumper off Facebook market place this morning! Waiting on some mounts from DirtBoundOffroad to get it officially mounted but until then I’ll paint it up and get some amazon special pods for it to see all those curbs better. -

New to me Bilsteins all the way around thanks to @thecodemonk! I can’t thank him enough for the hook up on them and for taking me for a rip in his LS MJ! -

You passed me this morning on Ash&Francis and man I was too excited to see that thing rumbling by! I would also love to snag those bilsteins from you sometime! Just let me know what you’re thinking for a price when you get a chance. -

So much I would like to get done this winter after our move is settled in. Shocks. Newer bucket seats that don’t have Cali lean. Get my steering angles a little happier. Hopefully find doors that haven’t been living at the bottom of the ocean so I can start getting rid of some of this rust and decide if I want to go with Hannemann’s full fiberglass kit yet. or maybe I’ll just continue to stare at it and use it to pick up groceries on the weekends🤷🏼♀️ -
Medium! For a shortbed. I knew I was forgetting something.

ISO of a factory fiberglass Comanche specific canopy. I’ve ran a couple that fit well off S10s, Rangers, Dakotas, and aluminum ones but that is not what I’m after. I have cash in hand for anybody who is selling one in the Washington, Idaho, and maybe Oregon/Montana area. I’m located in Spokane, WA but I’m willing to travel for a MJ Specific Canopy. I posted a picture of the ones I’m talking about. Let me know if you have one for sale! Thank you.

USPOS- 1977 RHD DJ5-F

Thank you! Same as the factory 205s with the uncut corner doors. Place the rear axle on jack stands and tilt the body with a jack letting them slide right in. -

I definitely need to swing the rigs by more often man and say hi! This one is a bit drafty this time a year so bring your mittens ha. Thank you! There’s a few with that setup but honestly all the work for a 4.0 is not worth it unless you got a model with the gutless 4banger. I have three other Jeeps with 4wd so I’m really in no need to swap this one. I had plans for LCOG hot/rat rod build on 33s but I decided don’t want to chop this one up. Staying original is good sometimes since most of these things are dead in a field. Haha. thank you sir! I luckily snagged it in pretty good condition for its age but it still needed a lot of love, still does but it’s a running driving fun little project. -
My 1977 RHD DJ5-F I’ve been restoring. It’s a love/hate sharing this build because 90% of the time people who never knew they existed leave a big spiel on how they are going to get one to put on one tons with an LS swap when they don’t even know how to install their own windshield wipers🤷🏼♀️ But for the details. 232 with 727 TF trans Dana44 rear axle 2wd(they all were) RHD 7.50x16 BFG KM3s 16” original willys pickup wheels I dug out of a field and pieced together. MagnaFlow Stainless Bullet style muffler. Cleaned up interior with cheapo Jegs racing seats to replace where the mail tray used to sit with some matching latch&link lap belts so I feel fast. Amazon special LED headlights to fit in with the JKs at the mall. Other little things I’m forgetting.

Made me happy to see it and curious what you had going on until I saw your build got shared on Facebook the other day and WOW. Amazing work sir. I cannot wait to hear that V8 ripping around the neighborhood! -

You didn’t even list “fall air” for what you run in your tires. You lied to me. -

Yessir, currently have the USPOS, the XJTruck, my daily driver ZeeJay, and my wife’s hemi WK. It’s solid mix but the older the better in my book. -
Hopefully this is the correct place to post this finally, still learning how to internet apparently. Here’s my ‘91 MJ as it currently sits. Rusty’s 8” long arm kit 35x13.50x15 Toyo MTs 15x10 Trailmasters JCR One Ton OTK steering Tom Woods Drive Shafts Rear Tube Bumper, had a matching front but like a dummy I sold it. K&N CAI for all the hurs purs There’s a bunch of other little stuff I’m forgetting but that’s the main stuff.

Hi guys, sorry for the confusion I’m not sure what’s going on with the images or how to move this post to another thread(sorry 89 MJ). Jeep is sitting on Rusty’s 8” long arm kit with 35x13.50x15 Toyo MTs to keep it simple. Side markers are custom done by me from a clear set I opened up and painted. Can’t stand doing the nightshades tint over the plastic markers like some people do.

I have no idea how to use this site because technology confuses me but here’s my 1991 Jeep Comanche eliminator.
