The engine I'm mating it to is out of a 97 Cherokee. Did you find it on Craigslist? I may have to take a trip up there. It's about a 3 hour drive though :/
Check out what Clayton has. http://www.carid.com/clayton-off-road/xj-auto-mpn-4801512.html?gclid=CICMkYmbxs0CFUEkhgods5YCZw
That's what I'm looking into. Prob going to fab my own arms and just get builder parts but the center piece is nice. Don't need to drop the whole long arm kit to get to the tranny. I've done a decent amount of research and almost time for me to pull the trigger.
I've been lurking around on this forum for a while and will more than likely be making a build post but prob won't start in until I'm pretty far in cause I'll be working at a snails pace haha
Good luck man!
It is a great idea however, if you four wheel a lot and through deeper water I would advise against it. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think that material is like a fiber board and will hold moisture.
New to the club, located in west palm beach as well. The Orange, have you been out to 5A yet? That's a decent place, deep deep holes though. Anyone ever put anything together for a meet up in this area?
Slap an ax15 in there. I have the same problem with my clutch and actually will be going to auto once I can find a tf999 or 32rh. That would be the way to go.
