My truck was running great yesterday, then i filled it up and now the engine bogs down and i can barely get up hills. suggestions?

Definately know its gas(to much fun with my torch :yes: ) found my number 2 cylinder spark plug isnt firing correctly. Went to autozone got new plugs, wires, distributor rotor and cap. hope this fixes it

when its running. theres no smoke or anything, but raw fuel comes out

I have a 2.5 5spd and the previous owner said he replaced all the lines and i just replaced the fuel injector, but theres gas coming out of my exhaust. Help?

I don't know the gearing but i know i have d30 front and d35 rear. I'm pretty sure its the aisin 5spd trans

right now I'm looking at hell creek or rough country. theyre both priced pretty close. I'm still not sure if I'm gunna do it since i still only have the 2.5 i4

What all did you have to do for the 4.3 swap? I'm a big fan of the motors and would love to put one in my mj :yes:

Well the more i tear into this truck, the more i realise what a total idiot the previous owner was. everything is rigged up and his methods are giving out now. I'm just really glad I'm an ok mechanic and my dads an awsome one cause we have some work to do lol

I know what's wrong with it. His 4.0 is missing two cylinders. Funny funny. just found one on cl, needs lifters, rockers and push rods. Would not hesitate, but have no where to drop the engine in. I just got a new injector for it, havent put it on yet but hopefully it helps

What transmission and what axle gearing? 5 spd, don't know the gearing but i know its the dana35

I have an 86 mj with the 2.5. It has stock rims and suspension and that thing is a tird! any ideas to put a little more power under the hood to get it movin? id like to lift it and put bigger tires, but theres no way with the lack of power

I'm thinking about getting a 3" lift for my 86. I don't do anything crazy, just normal mudding and stuff. Do i need anything else besides the kit?(4shocks, cprings, add a leaf)
