you could also tie it into some tube fenders and rock sliders that is what i would like to do with mine like a full wrap. i don't really like full exo cages either -

Thanks for the advice I have the 2.8l v6 though.... And I took the whole thing apart on Saturday and drove it to the dump yesterday and to work today nothing too far and it doesn't seem to be leaking. Hopefully it's all good. -

Pretty sure it's in there correctly I took the whole thing out yesterday and took the line off and put it back in and it worked. But it's raining out so I'll have to check it tomorrow. -

It also looks like it could be leaking out of where the break line screws into the master. -

It is leaking from the bottom of the master in the engine bay. -

Looks like someone already has them on a comanche on here.

Pretty sure they are the same as the rear maybe minor adjustments would have to be made. Not near my truck right now but the bottom is the same I know that. https://www.google.com/search?q=comanche+rear+shocks&client=ms-android-verizon&biw=360&bih=248&prmd=sivn&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0CAcQ_AUoAmoVChMI7IL61NzOyAIVRtBjCh0eEgrr#imgrc=VKvRoc7ZLL1mbM%3A

What is this thing?

Agreed -
Don't get me wrong I understand why and what they are good for and I will have disconnects for IF I want to drive it on the road the sway bar links that are on it now are so shot that the bolts would probably snap if I did have to make a quick evasive turn to avoid something. So with that Driving an older vechile is a risk no matter what so when driving one I take extra caution ⚠ and drive slower just like driving a larger vehicle or a taller vechile. Speed and turning quick is for small cars my comanche isnt a race car and I know that do I don't drive it like one. Now I don't want to have an argument about why I should be running a swaybar I know it is an important part of the suspension and will have one when it's ready for one.thanks for the input

That's an xj and how much lift did it have. My mj is not a dd. Its not on the tar much so I'm just not worried about it. The money can go to more important things to keep it running once the install of the lift starts it won't be on the road either until it's finished
-
i have the 2.8l..... and i want to try to be around 3-4 so i am going to install the coils and everything and see what happens and most likely going to run no sway bar for awhile its registered as an antique so really no laws haha gotta love maine thanks for the advice
-
so my friend has 4 bilstein shocks for a 3 or 4.5 lift for a jeep tj and he has 4.5 inch front coils and is going to sell it all to me for very cheap coil are like new and shocks are maybe a year old. I want to get hell creek leafs which of these would be better the 4.5 ones or the 3 with a shackle setup? and what other components should i be looking for track bar any brackets i know break lines will be needed but is there anything else thanks in advance.

transfer and transmission?
86manche207 replied to 86manche207's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
yeah my 2.8 only has like 93k on it and runs fine when it goes i plan to do a 3.4 or 3.1 which ever i can find for the right price and i have seen on a lot of sites that the ax5 is pretty weak for any off road use. -
just trying to figure out what to keep my eye open for i have a 2.8l v6 and the ax5 matched with the np207 i have read a lot that these are not very reliable. i plan on doing some offroading and cruising around town what transmissions bolt up to my engine and what are my transfer case options. id like to keep it a standard. thanks in advance for any advice.

Any ideas where this is coming from?!
86manche207 replied to EnlistedManche's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
a guy that i bought a tailgate off had this same problem and said it was very common and he had 5 comanches at his house and he had piece of sheet metal welded somewhere right above the blower motor or something and from what i saw it just made the water run down and out instead of into the cabin -
where are you from because allwheels is pretty small compared to rocky mountain terrain park in carthage maine i think allwheels has 60-70 acres and RMTP has something like 600+ and the guy is okay with people making there own trails and he has a lot of heavy duty crawling there

new guy here few questions and showing off.
