  1. its looking really good. I could really tell a difference with the home depot sound deadener on my roof. Also my truck never came with a back interior panel, but my brothers did, so I traced his on some thin plywood and covered with left over headliner material. It is incredibly quiet even with no carpet. Just think when its all done you shouldn't have to take it back apart for a long time! I want to see that thing! hurry up hah
  2. maybe buy him some dentures, or find his long lost sister ;) lmao
  3. you mean you didn't like that sweet snorkel? lol truck looks awesome
  4. there is really no need for led's in the euramtec lights, they are very bright to begin with. If you have to install led's in your A pillar lights for them to be bright you have poorly designed lights then, IMHO straight from eurametc they were around $25 shipped. other sources mark them up. $8.00 X 2 + shipping only thing is you have to call them, no online orders. (that i could find) I had a nice lady on the other end. If you call you don't have to register. Part number = Complete Assembly: A-7180-BC They are 10X better than any factory ones, very good construction. not brittle, well designed. I will try to get a shot of them in the dark, they light up the whole interior. unlike other after-market lights these actually look like they are suppose to be there. These are defiantly the best alternative, actually I will say they are better than factory ones. http://www.euramtec.com/catalog/parts.php?section=C1 Contact info for Euramtec 29650 Grand River Avenue Farmington Hills, MI 48336-5622 USA Phone: (248) 473-8660 Fax: (248) 473-8662 E-mail: Contact@euramtec.com I Hope this clears up all the ?s

  6. Brian's Grill is the best!
  7. Engineers are dumb, everyone knows that.
  8. haha, yeah took me alot of searching to find those lights too. My brother and I have also done a HO head swap and kept the renix engine computer on a buddy's 88 Cherokee, its not that hard but if we were to do it over again would probably just swap the entire harness and HO computer. Renix Computer system is funny, seems like it doesn't really know how to take full advantage of the upgrade. if you already have the drivetrain set up for a 4.0l, a HO stroker would be a better option, or just a nicely built HO engine with matching engine controls. I think my brother is still under the 2k range with his 5.9l swap including transmission and everything. Depends on what kind of deal you can find...
  9. looks good, thats the same interior lights I used, not sure if you saw mine on my project build. I'm very happy with mine, been in for 3 or 4 months. very good quality. I guess one of us should do a write up on them so others can find them. haha when you get that thing driving you should come drive back down and check out our 5.9l Comanche project.
  10. It Runs! First time trying to crank it up, it fired right up and settled down to a nice loud idle with only a Y-Pipe made. Ignore the power steering, fluid was yucky and aerated Click here to watch video >>> http://www.supermotors.net/registry/media/772607
  11. your proportioning valve is on wrong. lol mine was set up like that too when I bought it. Flipped it over and instantly I had rear brakes ! good find for sure though.
  12. yeah. all of it. I just told the lady the whole assembly.
  13. http://www.euramtec.com/ they are A-7180 Interior Light click on catalog and its under interior lighting its easiest just to call to place the order, nice lady on the other end. you have to order light with bezel. (The whole assembly) they ended up being $25 with shipping for the set. you won't be dissapointed.
  14. Interior upgrades. New professional recovered headliner after failed attempt on my own after 6 months the 3M glue failed. Installed some sound deadening and insulation on underside of roof. Got rid of the flimsy sound. $7 a roll at home depot. for duct insulation. worked very nicely. Dynamat is overly expensive. New 98XJ sun visors with fancy lights. Spliced into the rear courtesy lights for 12v source. Searched and searched for rear courtesy light replacements, found almost perfect fit without modifying hole at all. (google image search is the greatest) By almost perfect I mean only had to elongate hole by 1/8 of an inch. Exactly same as factory push to turn on, and ground when door is open to turn on. I am amazed its almost like they were made for replacement of these lights.
  15. Ok so I have done a few upgrades/repairs in the last few months. Ill start off with the rear brakes. Wheel cylinder started leaking so figured it was a good time to change it all since the linings were contaminated. While Breaking free the fittings they twisted the tubing. so that got new cunifer tubing. cunifer is easier to bend than stainless and will never rust like steel will. also can order it from napa. Had some left over from my dads Ford truck I'm restoring. Really great stuff. (http://www.fedhillusa.com/ info on it there) New brake hardware kit too as some of my springs were broke. cleaned up everything real nice used never seize on the adjusters and backing plate where the shoes ride. Completed the project with all new dot4 fluid and bleed the brakes. also have new flex lines (front and rear) Front calipers have already been changed. Everything was pretty much filled up with rust. Just goes to show the brake fluid is mostly always forgotten about untill its too late.
  16. you better be coming home tomm to help in the garage. putting up more of the ceiling. whoopie! naaaat
  17. ok well Ill upload some of the pics of the progress we made this weekend. here is where the wiring will lay. Tried to match the 4.0l routing. Completle dissasembled and cleaned the TB. Fuse block and Older style innerfender overflow bottle. Sorting out more wires.... Cut large hole for Transfer Case. :) 92+ washer bottle, and ECM mounted. also bolted down the valve covers and bent the dip stick tube for transmission to fit. May get locar flexible one later on.
  18. Looking wonderfull. Are the spindles just for newer style calipers or are their other diffrences? Does the ZJ steering box bolt up the same and whats the advantage? Now all you need is a zj 5.9l to put in it. :) Me and my brother got alot done in the last 2 days he had fall break from uncc, getting closer and closer to cranking it up. pull a part is awsome, down in charlotte if you say paying with cash they will give you a deal because they will pocket the money and not have to claim it that way. haha
  19. allen heads remind me when I was working on VW and Audi's, they must actually come out for you. hah
  20. what are you using for paint?, looks really good. going to be a show truck when its all said and done. good luck with the allen heads hope you don't strip one out come fluid change time, you will be cussing youself for that choice.
  21. I was watching Pass time lastnight and saw a 98 grandcherokee with the 5.9l. then it had been stroked and a paxton supercharger on it. nice big cowl hood it was bad @$$. he ran like a 10. it was sick. just put all that in the comanche and it would be 10x cooler.
  22. looking good, great find on the shocks. Those things are expensive. but quality comes at a price. What lift is that, how much, and what do you plan on doing in the rear soa?
  23. what a dumb name you have there. you need to quit that school b/s and work on the truck all day everyday with me.
  24. I have a complete 2.5 for 100 if your in NC. haha trying to get rid of it.
  25. looks like a good one, how are those bushings, do they squeak at all? any more rough riding than the rubber ones?
