  1. it does have the ballast resistor still, i'll check that, but i don't think the ground for the fuel pump is bad, i can hear it turn on when i turn the key
  2. Don't worry, no more money in my bank to keep buying these things up
  3. Well about a week ago the 92 left me stranded on the side of the highway. A week later it's still sitting here not running. It has a new fuel pump, filter, and pressure regulator. Somehow the motor is still not getting enough fuel and won't run, out of patience and ideas now, probably going to a mechanic and blowing more of my non existent money :headpop: :headpop: :headpop: :headpop: :headpop: :headpop:
  4. Nobody's had this problem before? Regulator didn't help, i'm out of ideas and out of patience, its off to the mechanic to blow more money i don't have
  5. i don't have a computer right now to search, so i'm only getting a little while at school to use the computer. My 92 has been down for the count for a week now, it died coming home from the Advanced. It will start and run, but bog down and die after a few seconds. I swapped the fuel filter, nothing. Had my mechanic come up and he found there was not enough pressure to the fuel rail, changed out the fuel pump, still nothing :headpop: . Waiting on a fuel pressure regulator to come in. If this doesn't work i don't know what else it could be. Anyone have this problem? :dunno:
  6. I've always liked the color matched front ends of the eliminators, so i decided to paint mine to match
  7. PM sent, thanks for all the help guys
  8. And i'm guessing all these bars with relocation brackets are welded on?
  9. Will be buying a new track bar within the next few days, looking for what people have to say about them, choices are.... JKS adjustable $200 Motion Offroad $120 RE $165 and the dreaded Rusty's, which i haven't had troubles with an know people who have liked them, but anyway $129 Money is a little tight, but i'm slowly transferring over to stronger, better built parts.
  10. Spring time i'll weld the cherry bomb up, leaks like a bastard right now, and yes the snorkel was a nice touch
  11. Put new head light bezels on, and put a pair of firestiks on And put a cherry bomb on yesterday morning
  12. Haha, you ain't kidding, you should have saw my front yard a few months back, i coulda opened my own junk yard
  13. sounds just like what i wanted to, sounds like its gonna be sweet when its done
  14. Wow, never thought i would see this truck again. I guess your the one who went an bought it before i could get my hands on it :fs2:  . Its a pretty nice truck, glad to see it on here. Once you get it done we'll have to hit some trails, i'm only about an hour from ya, can't wait to see more pics of this thing
  15. Yea, once the AW4 goes south it'll get one for sure
  16. most of the kits that reuse the old springs are SOA (spring over axle) kits. Instead of having the spring under the axle it relocates it to the top. it depends on how much lift you want, a SOA gives about 5.5"
  17. First off, i really need to do a tranny fluid an filter change, but tonight coming home from the fire academy i got on it pretty hard, and it wouldn't shift into 2nd, it just kept bucking an i let off an got back on it and it went in. I've been noticing this too when it down shifts going up hills. I have no idea what could be causing this :dunno: , hopefully just needs a service, any ideas?
  18. Didn't get to the IAC today, but sold my XJ instead :clapping: . Did get the intake tightened up, put the new fender on, and got the new belt on.
  19. I'm gonna pull the IAC off my 92 today, but before i start tearing into it, where is the IAC located? Is it in the throttle body itself, or is it attached to it?
  20. Thanks for the tip, were the 31's on the V8 explorers, or on both?
  21. Not planning on wasting my money on a 27, i can live with the 35 for now until i find the axle i want.
  22. The 44 is my first choice too, I plan on looking at every XJ they have there and the few MJ's they have, but i know my chances are pretty slim
  23. Just looking for a few opinions on rear axle choices. I have the 35 with welded spiders :ack: , on 32's. It really needs to go ASAP. Heading to the pull a part tomorrow after school, or first thing saturday morning. I'm torn between an 8.25, 8.8, or the ever elusive 44. The yards inventory shows several 8.8's and 8.25's, and i plan on hunting for a 44. I know to look for a 29 spline 8.25, and the 8.8's have the discs which would be a welcome upgrade. If i find a 44 the choice is obvious, but just looking for people with experience on any of these, likes an dislikes. Thanks for the help.
  24. i'm pretty sure 89elim sold his for $350 or close to it
  25. The PO had said he thought the IAC was going, but i figured it was just the snorkel doing it. Guess i'll give that a shot this weekend. O, and it already breaths better and starts right up now with the snorkel gone.
