  1. Just curious, why are you replacing the turn signal lever? And the hazard switch is part of the turn signal switch, you are probably just missing the knob and screw to push the switch on! Sounds like a trip to the pull-it-yourself yard is in order :) When I bought my truck, the PO had an aftermarket cruise installed, and hacked off the end of the original lever. So I got rid of the cruise, and got a chrome lever with the delay wiper markings only, for a mid 80's Chevy.
  2. I have the DNR radio in my truck, it was factory installed. It was the top option, with AM stereo and a search function for the cassette. Too bad AM stereo and cassettes are like 8-tracks now, only a handful of AM stations still broadcast in stereo. Two things I like best about this radio, are that I feel safer parking at a trail head because nobody will want to steal it, and when you unhook the battery, it remembers the station presets!
  3. Just went through this in mine, bad ground inside the socket. First remove the bulb and make sure the ground tab on the side of the socket is clean, and also make sure there is no corrosion on the bulb itself where the ground tab touches it. If everything looks good, take your test light and clip it to the positive side of the battery, and touch the probe to the ground tab. You should have a bright light. If your test light doesn't light up, or is dim, bad ground. I condemned the socket by poking the probe of the test light into the ground wire as it comes out of the socket. Got a bright light so I knew the problem was the socket. The turn indicator lights up dimly when you turn the lights on because the park lamp is trying to ground itself through the turn signal circuit.
  4. The first step is to make sure you have power from the battery to the fuse box, so if you haven't done so yet, get a test light and probe the top of the fuses as mentioned above. If you have a stick, check for fuse box damage from a leaking clutch master cylinder. I love Bend! was there 4 times last year. 3 mountain biking trips, one climb up South Sister...good times! And my Comanche was sold new at Smolich Jeep
  5. I went with Dash Designs in Tempe. Got the carpet style, been on the dash for 12 years and still looks great! The glove box door cover is a separate piece from the rest of the dash cover, so no problems opening the glove box.
