  1. Buffalo has got to be one of the more salted areas. I can't imagine the rust that long bed must have lol.
  2. So it is pretty much rust free and the paint clearcoat is very bad in a number of spots such as the roof and hood. I would. consider a full nice paint job in the future but for now I like the black and want a cheap fix. I don't want to go macco with the paint job. But I won't be shelling out 1500+ to fix a few spots. My options are sand prime and rattle can paint and clear the hood (main starting point). Or find a good condition black hood and swap it in. Here is the hood as it stands. And here is a brand new replace meant hood that is slightly glossy but appears to be a primer paint that I can get locally for $90. Or I could find a junkyard one... All options seem semi cheap and easy I just feel weird about replacing the hood when it isn't truly shot yet. I don't need showroom looks just a little nicer then the cheapest look. Any advice?
  3. I also have a factory cassettes player for a Comanche if anyone needs it. I would take 10-15 plus shipping. Local pickup in the western NY area is available.
  4. Thanks I'll look into it.
  5. Well I started around 100. I could easily go higher to the 200 range if the right one was available and in the right condition. If nothing turned up I think I can still get a shop to make me a custom one
  6. Nates is nice but not what I'm looking for. The diy one looks good but I just want something that is ready to go. Stock bumper I like so the hitch underneath would work the best. I'll keep looking around.
  7. Mj had a truck frame and the xj has unibody in the rear. That would have to be some good luck or amazing fore thought on the jeep designers to make the mounting points the same for the rear. I appreciate you checking though.
  8. I'll have to build a snow snorkle
  9. I live in the Buffalo/Rochester area of NY. We had a crazy snow storm few weeks ago. Drive ways looked like this! So I went out and grabbed a sweet no rust (except for dents in the bed) Comanche 4x4 ax15 4.0 from Virginia with 90k on the clock. I won't be kept from the ski slopes or groceries in this baby lol I plan to get some fixes into her to make her a dependable dd
  10. Looking for trailer hitch receiver that mounts under the stock bumper. Uhaul had one that bolted to the truck frame. I can't seem to find anyone selling them still and the day kits look nice but a lot of work. 75-100 depending on condition plus shipping. Rochester ny
  11. Rochester NY here. I would go to buffalo/Ithaca/Syracuse/bing areas
