35% that's pretty impressive. -
Hello I need to replace both my headlights there in horrid condition. I'm looking for plug n play. How ever I don't mind swapping out a harness if its worth it. Just wanted some opinions on what you all like. Also is there anywhere that sells the weather stripping for our doors?

I'm in desperate need of a valve renix valve cover for a 89 4.0 if anyone has one please let me know.

I'm running a napa filter and valvoline 10-30w just did a oil change about 150 miles ago when i put the engine in. Engine only has 96k miles on it. I think ill do another oil change and run Rotella t3 and a qt of MMO. Do you recommend Wix or Napa filters? Also yes if i shut it off wait and start again it'll still have it. Thank you everyone for your responses!!

About to do a oil change. Iv got a sticky lifter and was told to use marvel mystery oil, I'm not fond of putting stuff in my oil. How's it do with the renix engines? Would you recommend it? Thanks in advance(:

Hey guys I noticed this morning there's a spot where four vaccum lines hook up. The green one is totally cooked and is no longer connected. Is there a part number for this line? Also what's it going to cause my 4H works great my 4L works just a little stiff to get it engaged. Thanks in advance.

Do a compression test. Even without water in your oil or vis versa could have a headgasket leak. Sounds more like a fuel problem so I'd check your fuel pressure as well. Just a couple things that you can hopfully check off the list without having to spend money on wasted parts.

No start, have spark,fuel,and,compression

Let me know how it works. It only took me about 15 mins to remove and install the new one. -

After swaping a 89 xj engine into my MJ I had very similar symptoms. After a lot of wasted money on this and that and this item, it ended up being the CPS. If your MJ is currently running try swaping the CPS and see if it works. I'm by far no jeep tech or as educated as others around here just simply speaking from my own recent experiences. Also if you haven't gone over Cruisers renix tips I'd highly suggest it. -

Found a 88 with 124k miles for $375 pretty sure ima make the 2.5 hour trip in the morning to snag it up.

Yeah that's made me think the swap would be pretty simple. Love's cruisers tips. Sorry Pete it is a 4.0

Well guys I recently purchased a 1988 Comanche and ran like a champ after replacing the intake mani gasket. Untill yesterday while driving down the freeway at only about 60mph my engine decided it was done and through a rod through the side. Can you believe this thing would still start LOL. Anyways now I'm on the hunt for a new engine. I know the 88-90 xjs are a direct swap and what iv read on so far the HO swap seems simple enough. But I live in CA with smog regulations does anyone know if it would pass with the HO. Also is there specific years that have a better engine that I should specifically look for? Thank you very much in advance!
