The cable can get pulled off the cluster sometimes on accident if something snags it under the truck. It has happened to my buddy a couple of times.

Depending on where you are located I have a transfer case out of an 89 laying around I don't need, its mated to an aw4 auto but that won't work with the 2.5. I have the front dana 30 from the 89 too if you want a CAD axle.

I think they are plastic welded to the dash in the back so I don't believe you can remove them. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Yea I follow all those guys on Instagram and Facebook. I'm also a member on another forum that is all JP jeeps. PFCLeist, That is a YJ not a TJ, basically the way I want mine to look minus the lift and tire/wheel combo for offroad use. This is taking priority over the MJ because it needs to be finished in time for the Wildwood Jeep Invasion in June.

Those retainers are a pain they brake really easily. I actually broke one off my friends comanche the other day when we did his new injectors. Lucky for him I had a couple extra clips from other jeeps lying around.

Sadly the Lil Comanche project is being put on hold. I was going to attempt to get it finished in time for the Jeep Invasion in Wildwood in June but because of other projects it is being put on the back burner. I have decided to switch gears and get my YJ finished for Jeep Invasion. Plans for that are to make a replica Jurassic Park Jeep with slight modifications, so it won't be 100% screen accurate.

Here is an AM/FM with tape deck and the DNR that was recently pulled from and 86.

No shave as in cutting eat metal off the bottom of the diff so they don't snag on rocks and what not. There isn't really a need to do it when you are running 46s
