Don't have a clue what it was made for,There are some sticker in it,I need to go see if it says anything on them.Seen this camper for years at work,It was about to be introduced to a bulldozer so I took the tape measure to it.Wasn't looking for a camper top but couldn't see it get trashed.

Don't recall saying it was Comanche-specific.Actually the roof line and the cabline do line up and the width is the same as the width of the front of the bed,The gap between the camper and the back of the cab is a little off .Of course the fact that it is not Comanche-specific the back of the camper is a little wider than the bed being Comanche beds are 1" narrower at the rear.I guess what I should have said was that for a non Comanche-specific Camper it fits great.My bad

Having had many Jeeps in the past from J10s, Full size Cherokee,XJ,MJ Many CJs, 5s and 7s and and my current 05 LJ. any combo of options could be ordered/added to any Jeep.One of my brothers ordered a 72 CJ 5 with a half cab,Front mounted winch, dual rear wheels and dually fenders way back in 72.They were installed at the factory in Toledo Ohio not the dealership,It was a special order Jeep and took about 6 month to get.

Just out of curiousity,Why do a lot of yall cover up your license plates before taking pics.How many people do you pass in a days time every day you drive your trucks that see's your plates.I don't understand the reason total strangers can see them but Comanche Club members can't.Am I missing something here?

I'm in the process of converting to 4wd. I put the front and rear axles in out of my doner.It's a little hilly here in middle TN. Changing from 3.07 to 3.55 gears,Unbelievable difference.

Your right,I never noticed that before,I believe the liftgates rounded at the taillight area also,I haven't paid any attention to the 97+ X.J.s A buddy of mine just bought a 97 and was wanting some parts off my 88 doner.Guess they won't work.Thanks

Jeepman you are correct.The problem is in the hub not the axle,My problems with the hubs spinning started after I removed the hubs the first time.Finally after buying a new set of axles and hubs did I discover the hubs were not splined.They actually spec. 200+ pounds of torque to install the hub onto the axle the first time.(Good breaker bar and a 6 ft. cheater pipe.)Once I replaced the setup and relized how tight the hub needed to be I no longer had any problems.I went from the 258 engine to a A.M.C. 360 out of a Javlin, running 35sRan that setup for 9 years,Pulling it and putting in a A.M.C. 401 police interceptor and running 44s with no rear end trouble.Of coarse the last set up was not used on the asphalt.

My brother swapped his dummy light dash cluster for a full guage cluster,His oil pressure and water temp. guage won't work .I'm telling him different sensors for guages vrs. lights.If so does anyone have any part numbers.XJ is a 94 model. Thanks

I see now, Thanks ,That's doable.Just broke my E-brake cable(foot brake) I may try to hook up my X.J. E-brake instead of fixxen it.If not I may try and make a patch plate simular to that some day,Got plenty on the list to do first though.Thanks again.

I had an 83 CJ7 that came with a rear Dana 20,Looked like that.Believe that's what he's got there.

Can someone post a pic. of the plate covering the E brake slot on the M.J. full consoles.Just courious as to what it looks like and to see if it may be something that can be fabbed up.Thanks

That,s what erks me,Since I got my Comanche Oct. 2013 .Dozens of friends ,coworkers, aquaintences,ect, love my truck,They all say,I won't one,Find me one,Gotta have one of those trucks,Well I let them all know about this one,Even told them I have a set of tires and wheels they can use,Better act fast it won't last long.That is a sweet deal any way you look at it.I also would want it to stay in the area.Tried the same with Fluff Roosters 92,It was only $900.00 and came with a parts xj.It ended up going to Indiana.Still no takers.PI$$ES me off.Wish I could swing it.Just can't.Hope it stays close.Just had to do some venting.
