I got a question, I just picked up a set of 5 of these rims and it seems like they have a clear coat or something on them that has aged with a slight yellow tint, the coating will come off if I scratch it with my fingernail an see shiney metal. How can I go about cleaning them with out scratching the metal, and do I need to clear coat them again?Also one of the lug nut covers is missing a jeep logo do you know where to get or buy them?

My mj has the Frenchy trans and I learned how to drive with it. Not saying I'm a pro driver but it hasn't failed me yet. Yes I've done dumb things with it, example, motor mount was bad, I rev it because it was cool feeling the motor rock the truck, felt like hot rod yeah it put a hole in my exhaust manifold but ,hot rod!. Donuts in the field,or load it down with pallet of shingles for work, it still going strong. It's the dam electrical that's killing it. Renix yay......

I just went through this on my "New" 87 comanche. Had papers of how it passed months before but smogs are only valid for 90days so went down to a shop. Find out my truck EXCEEDED GROSS POLLUTER limits. Which means I failed worse then ever.failer of fails and maxed out one of the readers.tore the motor down to the block cleaned and replaced seals, added thermostat, cleaned valves injectors,intake,TB. Haven't smogged it yet gotta tackle couple More stuff.

Took the truck out for first trip since I redid the gaskets and all. Drove it bout 2 and half hours total. Picked up some tires ended up gettin 5 for 320$ traded a spare that matched his new rims and tires. Link was broke but they are those turbine ones.
