This goes along with when your driving down the road and you smell smoke or fire or gas or antifreeze you immediately check your good and review mirror to see if the smell is coming from your rig :)

Hey guys. I've got a 4.5 rough country that was put on about 4 years ago he shocks are getting pretty stiff and looking around for some better shocks. Now I work at O'Riellys and I have came across the Rancho 9000xl Sierra the ones where you can adjust the stiffness. The part numbers that come in the Rubicon express kits are front RAN9009 and the back RAN9010 actually cross over to ranchos part numbers RS999009 26.125/16.125 and RS999010 26.010/16.330. I could get a set of them for about $400 Is there a better set of shocks that I can get for that price? Is anyone running these? How do you like them? What shocks do you have?

So me and my buddy KSjeepguy88 are always texting about our jeeps and have a lot of funny $#!& that only jeep guys would understand. So I got the idea to start this thread to share the funny text between jeep guys. If the thread dies it dies just a shot I guess

I work at O'Riellys and ALWAYS suggest Champion Coppers for jeeps and dodge trucks, a spark is a spark. I run NGKs in my brothers civic and in my pit bike but dodge and jeep if say stick with what dodge put in there

Buffalob those look amazing on the rims and your truck is a work of at by itself, I love the mt2s have your fan them in mud? What size of tires and rims are they? I will measure before I go screwing sh@t up. I probly won't do any hard ore wheeling until I get bushwackers on em

Minuit, THANKS ALOT MAN! I like the way it looks I'm pulling the trigger on the set tonight. Thanks for the photoshop work man I appreciate it

I know they are 5x5 but I'm gonna get some adapters that are 1.25 spacers also and then put 12.5 tires on the 10 inch rim. I like the outlaws also but can't find any on CL that are 15x10 only 15x8 and that's to skinny for the look I want

Lol I think she just out grew it and wasn't really a jeep girl wanted something newer hahaha yeah it's a good jeep tho :) in happy with it

So my fuel gage always read between 1/4 and 1/2 a tank when it was full it'd read 1/2 and when it was empty it'd read 1/4. And sometimes it would move at all. So last night I got under there and pulled the whole assembly @$$ you can see its a brand new pump and I knew someone had been in there cause there was a new locking on it and it wasn't even tight! So I started checking over my sensor and noticed the signal wire from the potentiometer was a little wiggle so I soldered the connector and little rivet joint together. To Test the sensor I just hooked up my ohm meter the red wire to the signal wire and the black wire to a ground on the whole assembly. When your tank is empty the resistor in the potentiometer reads 0.0 ohms and when your tank is full it reads 0.9. So I knew my sensor was good and was acting as it should I went ahead and put it back in. Locking the lock ring this time haha. At this point I still didn't know if my gauge would work, it could have still been a wiring problem between the sensor and the gauge but I turned the key and the gauge in the dash went all the way to 3/4!! So there you have it. I'm not saying that little signal wire connector is loose on every broke level sensor but its something to look for!

I just got my 88 mj last week. Picked her up for $3500 4.0L automatic. It's got shackles and spacers idk how much of a lift but she is making me pretty happy. I'm getting the valve cover powder coated and I'm about to buy some new pro comp mtz2s here pretty soon unless anyone has a better idea for tires
