Will the 1990 transmission ax4 mount bolt on 1998 tj ax5 mount.

I wanted the transfercase not the transmission. It was buy both or nothing

Is the ba 10/5 a 4 or 6 cylinder transmission. I ask because i can get a 231 and the transmission cheap plus a better transfercase

I got to bolt the 207 to the ax5 (4wd) every thing bolted up allright out off vehichle. Now i heard i have to change the front bearing cover. Because the 98 ax5 is a external slave cylinder.

So i take it the 207 is for a 4cyl.

I know the tranmission is a 1998. I'm not sure the year of the transfercase. Is there any way to find out what year it is on the tag. thanks

I tried that but the seat sat to high. I was looking at the sun viser. Also i do not have have a welder.

I finaly figured out how to bolt in the new seats. Unbolted both frames on both sets. Then were the factory frames were riveted i bolted a 1/8 flat steel to the new buckets. I then bolted the old frame i took off to the factory mounting . set the new seat on top off old bracket were the flat steel is marked it added more flat steel were i marked . Then drilled 3/8 hole into seat frame and flat steel. Bolted together every thing lined up with factory mounting points. It took about 2 hours first seat and about 45 min other seat. Sorry i don't have any picture

Is there a link on how to upgrade 1990 bucket seats to 1997+ bucket seats. thanks

I noticed a lot of play in the steering, replaced tie rod ends and new trackbar and still a lot of play. Checked and everything seems to be tighten

I picked up my axel finally and it also came with the steering box.(i guess that is what its called) but will that bolt up also from the 1990 2wd to the 1998 4wd

I got the whole axel wheel to wheel tie rod springs steering box for a 100. One last qeustion i hope is the pitman arms the same 2wd to 4wd. thanks

I do not have the transfercase and 4wd transmission installed yet. Will i be able to drive it with to diffrent gear ratios.In 2wd only

Will I need to use the 4wd tie rods or will the 2wd drive work

I am slowely converting from 2wd to 4wd .Is there a differance between a 1990 2wd and a 1998 4wd drive axel as for as bolting up. With out any problems thanks

what year transmission and transfercase bolt up to a1990 2.5 i know they have to be from a 2.5 also 4x4
