  1. When I did away with mine, I left the reture line there, its just sitting there. The other line goes directly to the hose. It will lock the rear first, but it isnt unpredictable or anything. I don't have a brake light with mine. The only thing that surprised me is on snow the rear sometimes wants to swap ends. Very easy to plan aorund it, (IE: don't brake in turns) or you can just pull the 4wd lever and theres no problems.
  2. Its a tossup between this lights and the 4.10s www.comanche4x4.com www.cardomain.com/summitlt
  3. The "EMR" is only on the renix era 4.0's The newer ones ahve a check engine light just like every other truck now. So you need a DRB
  4. Leafsprings are there, and fine. Theres even a S-10 leaf under the main one. It doesnt do it all the time, most of the time itll spin em, or go. But every once in a while, like when going form 1st to second and I dump it, itll hop like mad.
  5. My 90 MJ has wheelhop, mostly in reverse. It gets really old when I'm tryin gto get into traffic or something and it spins, when it grabs it seems like its going to come apart. I was looking at the bars you can get at VIP (woo hoo) but they would take away a lot of ground clearance. Like these http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Lakewood ... 1300QQrdZ1 What else can I do to reduce wheelhop?
  6. Worse comes to terrible you can move the axle back a bit, or get bigger bumpstops.
  7. I run 4.10s with my stock 215s (Yippie!) I had 3.07s and swapped to these, huge difference in power, gear ratios are alot closer and pretending my MJ is a drag car is fun. Much more "power" Wheeeling its awesome, don't have to slip the clutch in high to keep it running, and in low its unstopable. On pavement, i can put it in 2 low let the clutch out in frist and slowly apply thje brakes (no gas) and it will start to "burnout"
  8. Ive heard something similar when flexplat/TQ bolts come loose. but with yours being a manual not so much. Maybe something in there is just loose enough. I doubt it, but just throwing it out there. Maybe try driving it down the road (I don't want to hear any BS about this) and shutting the truck off (be sure to go back to the on position so you can steer) with the clutch in, if its still there it could be Tcase/tranny related.
  9. Yeah, the dealer told me it was operator error. Not sure what happened. :D
  10. Went up to a friends camp and we had MAJOR problems. The gas and brake pedal got stuck. The clutch wouldnt go down either. We didnt know what to do. So we enjoyed it. Afterwards the cords came seperated from the tire, it still held air and was balooned out pretty bad. Ill use it for high speeds only now.
  11. Not sure with the crap guages, but I repalced mine (i already had the good guage set) and was able to swap just my speedo to keep my mileage.

  15. I see one every once in a while. As in every month or so. Mostly its a blue longbed, 2ws that is definatly on life support. don't even see em in junkyards.
  16. Front swaybar was dissconnected, figured Id do a baseline. I was pretty impressed, the 225s were pretty close to rubbing, but it looked cool. :D Bone stock with no lift. Some teasers Th rest of the pics
