If I do decide to sell I will list it here. I don't have to decide till spring.

At least they have ONE real one on the list.

I know I will miss the MJ but lack of time and the XJ has a lot of extras so it will be the better vehicle. Any offers on a nice MJ before I list it some where else?

My 91, 2wd Comanche has a motor problem and it seems to be little or no compression. My choices are rebuild or replace the motor (4.0). So I picked up a 92 Cherokee that has had a new motor in it not to long ago. I was going to do the swap but now I'm thinking of just fixxing the xj's problems, ball joints, brakes, exhaust and recovering the seats, and sell my MJ. I know I have more in it than it is worth but she is in good shape (other than the motor) It has a cap, trailer hitch and a kick @$$ Pioneer stereo. The body is clean and straight and the interior is....not bad. No tears in the seats but no headliner. If I get a good enough offer I will sell her otherwise I have to do the swap. I live in the Chicago area and the truck can be driven with no problem. I have driven to Atlanta once and to Birmingham Al, pulling a trailer with no problems other than blowing a lot of oil out. Any offers?

This is from the summer while I was recovering from a broken foot. Of course I couldn't let a little thing like a broken bone keep me from riding. And to be able to drive my PU:

Thanks! Now all I have to do is buy it and swap it.

My 4.0 is broke and I found a 4.0 out of a 99 for sale. Will it go right in my 91?

I don't know who makes it. I was driving thru a parking lot and another Comanche went by and waved me down. He said "I never see any of these." We talked for a bit and he said he wanted to sell his cap and I bought it for $75! -
Picked up a new (to me) cap for my Comanche....$75! Sounded like a good deal to me.

'91, 4.0. Auto. Never heard of Comanche pick-ups till I bought this one. Very pleased with her.

My better half drives a 99 Grand Cherokee (Though not off road) and likes my Comanche but my problem is she won't ride on my bikes with me. Says I go to fast!

Trucking has changed over the last 13 years (That I've been doing it) but it still beats working for a living. I was a bricklayer before I climbed into the drivers seat and trucking is MUCH better. I've always said, for me, getting a job driving a truck is like a nymphomanic getting a job as a hooker! LOL Hope you enjoy it.

Anyone have any experience with these seats? $149 + shipping sounds good. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/EVO-LEAT ... dZViewItem

Thanks. It's not as quick as my old Dodge 1/2 ton with the 318 Magnum but it ain't bad! LOL It's an auto.

I haven't started racing yet, just track days so far. The last 3/4 years were on a Suzuki TL1000S. (#280) I just picked up a GSXR 750 for next season. And here are some pics of the new truck. By the end of this season I hope to try entering a race or two just to see how I can do.

I will keep it 2wd. I just bought it to pull my trailer to the race track and for to and from work. I can always steal my wifes Grand Cherokee if I want to go 4 wheeling.
-
Typo. they hired me cause I can drive, not cause I can type!

98000 or thereabouts. Now if I can just find a set of bucket seats.

Hi all, New here and I just bought my Comanche a couple of weeks ago. It's a 91 2wd with the 4.0 motor and so far I am quite pleased with her. The seat needs "work" (I feel like I am sitting on the floor) and there is no headliner but the body is clean and she runs and drives good. I am not an off-roader and I bought the truck to drive to work and to pull my trailer when I go to the track. We (My better half and I) also have a 98 Grand Cherokee that I like so when I saw the Comanche for sale I grabed it. Looking forward to fixxing her up a bit and a lot of fun miles in her.

thanks.
