what are some test i can run to pin point the cause of this? does it sound like it could be a fuel problem?

my truck when i first bought it was alittle hard to start but its slowly getting worst and now takes alot of cranks then revs pretty high. and now also it almost feels like the tranny is slipping but its a standard so that doesn't make sense it just kinda stutters like won't go full then stutters and then grabs. would you think this is more a fuel problem or maybe a clutch? i did get stuck and was revving it pretty hard. my moms looking for a new vehicle and I have been trying to get her into a jeep right now we have a 1985 fj60 land cruiser but she wants something new and 4 door. what do you guys think of the 4 door JK are they built well what is there to avoid all them

i checked that when i got home i also changed the diff oil while i was at it and looked in there.

no it was shimmed because it worked then about an hour later it just stopped i'm going to try to adjust the linkage and see if that helps if not i'll just wait till i stick my new transfer case with the SYE on it

no my 4 hi isn't working either i had it out on this mud hole and my front tires weren't moving no matter what i put it in. but it would drop into low gear in the transfer case but the front would still not engage. its a 1990 jeep pioneer with 4L ax15 dana 30 front and 35 rear

do you have any audio of your cherry bomb exhaust I always wanted to know what it would sound like with one I'm scared it might sound like a rice rocket with the big exhaust.

my 4x4 never works i shimmed the fork over and the transfer case does shift into 4low so wouldn't that show that the transfer case is still working? just seeing if anyone has any ideas before I go out there and start tearing stuff off? Thanks Tim

I have a 1990 pioneer with the 4L ax14 it has a Dana 35 and 3.09 gears I have a custom bumper with it beefed up and mounted were the old bumper was how much can I tow?? Thanks Tim

the someone told me the renix is better to stroke because it has a bigger block is that true?
