  1. The last few weeks have been pretty much non-stop working on the MJ and then wheeling at Trail Jamboree last week. A big thanks to my friends Ron and Keith along with my father for helping me get this thing put back together to go wheeling. I picked up a set of dimple dies and added some gussets to the cage. Then it was time to burn through a lot of welding wire. Test fit before paint. Painted and installed. Willy
  2. You took the easy line. :P There is a nice crack to the left of that is much better. Willy
  3. Tacked the rear tube fenders together. Willy
  4. Trimmed the front fenders to fit around the cage. Willy
  5. Where are all the dents? :P Willy
  6. I do plan on some more tubing coming off the B pillar hoop into the bed, but it won't attach to the top of the bed rails. That will come at a later date. I don't have enough time to build it before my next wheeling trip. Willy
  7. No offense taken. I had the same thought after I marked it for drilling. Willy
  8. It may be a little excessive but I wanted to spread the load out as much as possible. I don't think a tree or rock will be very considerate of how many bolts are holding it on as it is trying to rip it off. Willy
  9. I wasn't very happy with what the cage was turning into, so we had a slight change in direction. Mounting plates for the B pillar hoop. Trying to mock up the B pillar hoop. Willy
  10. Then how are they installed in the first place? :hmm: Willy
  11. Can't wait to see them. Willy
  12. I'd go with the 4.3 just to be different. I love 4.0s but almost every Jeep from the last 25 years has one. Willy
  13. It took a while, but we got the passenger side tube bent. Willy
  14. There's a build thread for it in my signature. Thanks, Willy
  15. Ron came by again this past weekend and played with bondo. Willy
  16. Started on the rear tube fenders. Put the press brake to work. Willy
  17. It looks like you have an AW4 transmission? If so ATF+4 is the wrong fluid. It uses Mercon/Dexron. Willy
