  1. Been kicking the idea around of trying to make one. Now that I have seen this I really want to build one
  2. Not sure what the tube dia. would be ?
  3. Still looking :typing:
  4. Check the bottom bushing where the bar goes thru. I have had them disappear in the past.
  5. When I did my xj it was a little over 7 inches of lift with 33's. It was my DD for about 4 years. Got about 15 mpg highway. But I would say not to buy it. If you want a xj over 4.5- 5 inches build it yourself that way you know what you have in it. If there are blocks in the rear walk away from it they are nothing but problems. Seen too many people break their springs and have drive issues with blocks
  6. No it does not matter which s-10 just look at them and get the ones with the best arch. Also on a side note I know some guys that used Dakota leaf spring too. I do have a set of S-10 zr2 leafs in the back yard. But it would be cheaper for you to pull your own.
  7. Auto zone chevy lowering shackles $40.00 .They are adjustable and can provide up to 2.5 inches of lift
  8. Thank you very much for the info and pics. Ok I am looking for a roll bar for a LONG WHEEL BASE MJ. Thanks again
  9. Ok bear with me. I came from having xj's and on my first mj. But if you get a pair of s-10 springs cut the military wraps off and use the s-10 main leaf as your second leaf on your spring pack that should give you the arch you want. If it is to much lift then use the second sping leaf of the s-10 leaf pack instead. The s-10 springs have more arch.
  10. Looking for a bed mounted roll bar for a LWB mj. Not sure if a swb one would work . Thats why I said lwb.
  11. Last weekend I went down to krap (king of the road auto parts) in holland ohio. They had 8 mj's sitting in there.
  12. Grab it . If you have to many projects then fix it and flip it .
