  1. Your print sucks, So I reread and reread your problem. What I think is this is just a switch box with three Hots and one switch leg, or load, light. My questions are, Where are you getting/ testing the ground from? What are the wire colors? All blacks, or do you have a light brown / white wires. If you have two hots, and they do not read 230 volts between them, they are probably the same phase. First rack out the breakers one at a time and check each hot wire to see if they are on the same breaker or on different Breakers. If they are on two different breakers, Then this box was used as a junction box / switch box and you have different circuits in it. One for a light and one for something else, ???. You will need to find out what the other wires go to. With knob and tube a lot of times the circuits where looped, back feed, or tied together since they only had one fuse for the whole house. This was one of main reasons for house fires. I take it that this house was rewired at some point, since you do have breakers / breaker panel. Sounds like your electrician did not upgrade all the wiring. Since this is in your bathroom, I would find out where all the wires come from and go. Unhook them from the power source and start over with new Romex wires. I know this is going to be a pain but better safe them sorry latter. Don't for get that the bath room needs to be on a GFI circuit. Hope this helps.
  2. Hey, Thanks for the information!
  3. The wife's comanche died. Traced problem down to the ignition switch module on the steering column. removed the old one, but the new one does want to go back in the same place. Both switches look the same, So what is the trick to putting it in? I even unplugged wiring harness to the switch, still no luck. Start again to install module, no luck. Looks to me like the rod moved or has come loose in the steering column. I can still move it back and forth with the key, So I don't know what I did wrong. The switches look the same, I even tried a switch from a non tilt column, wouldn't work either. I need some suggestions as to what could be the problem. I need to get it fixed and back on the wiring harness for a 88 wrangler. Thanks Bo
  4. That's my question too, what is your fuel pressure? 39 psig, at your fuel rail tap. if not, did you change your fuel filter in the last year? yes, check your fuel regulator, unplug vaccum line and plug it. check fuel pressure before and after with it running. if your fuel pressure was low and came up to to 39 psig after unhooking the regulator, replace the regulator. If it stayed low, replace fuel pump. if you replace fuel pump, replace fuel filter to, check regulator again or pressure at fuel rail to make sure you don't have more than one problem. hope this helps

Well I live in Garden City, Ks., just north of you. The wife's comanche is only two drive, but we have several cherokees.
  6. I am always doing this, sometimes the wife doesn't like it, but what the hell. I have more tools them the rest of the neighbors, I clean the snow off the neighbors drives just because I like to. I really like working on jeeps, helping high school kids lift jeeps is fun, go wheeling with them, but when your out on the trail and with one of the kids. Someone breaks down, and he helps out someone else and gets no thanks just because he was there. Well there is my thanks, not for the person he helped but for the kid. You rub off on him, and the world may change.
  7. I have had several problems over the years with my cherokees, so try cycling your key on and off several times before trying to start it, let it on for for ten seconds then off, on again for ten seconds then off. when you try to started, rev up to about 1500 rpm's and keep it there. Also try some HEET in the gas, might help. You can pull and plug the vacuum line to fuel regulator and try to start it. this will cause same problem or try changing the fuel filter.
  8. Can you get the tee shirts in tall sizes? I need a xxlt or a 2xlt. thanks, they look great. Also can you get pocket tee shirts?
  9. I live in Garden City, Ks. It is not the end of of the world but you can see it from hear.
  10. I was in the Navy, 6yrs. Now my son is in the Army, just grad. from Apache helicopter at Ft Rucker, AL. last week. What a job he has and gets paid for it!
  11. on my 95 cherokee wouldn't last week. thought it was the fuel pump and bought it, fuel regulator, fuel line and a filter. I replaced the filter first and it was part of the problem. had the fuel pressure gauge on it pump up to 38 psig, but rev up the engine it would drop to 25 psig. unplugged the vacuum line and had 40 psig all the time, changed the fuel regulator. works great. bought all parts at my local Advanced auto parts store. regulator was about $60.
  12. You are suppose to change the fuel filter every 12,000 miles or every 2 years, which ever comes first. I would replace the one you removed. I would also try some fuel cleaner the next time you fill up.
  13. I will take June 12, It is my birthday.
  14. Well I was looking through this form when the Grand Cherokee's fuel pump went out. So I decided to put new injectors in with the fuel pump, also had to replace the fuel regulator. Since taz's fuel mileage when up I thought it was worth the money, bought three sets, did the Grand cherokee first, with 186,000 miles on it. Check the mileage after the injectors were installed, went from 13 to 15 in town to 17.5 mpg. I was impressed, so I change the 92 cherokee and the 89 mj injectors too. Now need some over time for the 95 cherokee injectors. This is a great price on the injectors and would recommend this to anyone with 100,000 miles or more on their engines. don't forget to change the fuel filter too.
  15. Bought the wife an MJ, 89, she wants a dome light. Doesn't like the two little lights under the dashboard panel. I need to put one over head for her. So did the MJ's ever come with one? Or like the XJ's with the over head console? I would like to get a factory option if someone has one laying around.
  16. I still think one of your hoses is leaking, vacuum line, maybe at an elbow. I replace one of these at the same time, it was the elbow to the fuel regulator. cracked and rotted. I would all these rubber lines first, be careful of the hard plastic lines, if it is cold out they break like glass. Also make sure none of these lines are kinked.
  17. Just bought a comanche last Nov. Had the same problem, the little line on the back of the valve cover was plugged, cleaned valve cover, replaced the hose and still leaked. So I pulled the fitting on the intake that the little hose when to and unplugged it and the intake. Hasn't use a drop in three months.
