  2. is that a waggy front axle? i'm doing a swap similar to that, and saw what looked like you cut off the spring perch from the drivers side housing. if you did, how does that work?

  8. Iactually have a MB comanche that i made out of a cherokee. it's not the prettiest job, but i like it. its lifted with crawlers, i'll try to get a pic up soon.
  9. My truck is lifted 6 in., it has 33 in. tires, stock drivetrain. the lift is spring over on stock springs in the back, 3 in. lift springs with 3 in. spacer(works, but i would rather just have the springs at 6 in.). rough country track bar(would recomend one you can upgrade the joints on it you are looking for a new track bar), I have a long arm kit built that just needs to be installed, and hope to get some dana 44's under it soon.
  10. here are some recent pictures. Trimmed front fenders a lettle more, added a hi-lift jack mount. not to much, but hoping some more will happen soon.
  11. hey thanks for the info. the pictures are great, they help me out alot. I have heard you have to machine off part of the driver side spring perch to fit the control arms, but i guess i will just have to figure that out as i go. thanks.
  12. hey i love your truck. i had a question. on the front axle brackets did you weld them to the housing? and how did you set up the driver side brackets. i have a dana 44 that i'm going to install, and just wanted the low down. thanks
  13. here is doorless and all. this is basically how it sits today
  14. Here are most of the pictures i have of my truck. I know have a Dana 44 for the front that i have stripped of all brackets, and now need to clean and fix up, and install. then i need a rear dana 44. but when the front was free, I coudnt pass it up even if it came first.

  16. notice how my crappy track bar is unhooked in the picture. yeah, thats when i noticed it too.
  17. I'm a newbe to the club. my truck is an 89 comanche sport truck short bed. it has the crappy pukeo trans, the smaller output shaft np231, the weeker dana 30, and 3.08 gears. alot to change. Ive put a hodge podge 6 inch front lift, and basic spring over rear lift of a total 5.5 inches. I have severly hacked my fenders to clear room enough for 35 incher tires, but i only have 33's. it has a crappy roll bar, and some modified for clearnace stock bumpers. and as of tonight, it has removable doors. and i don't know how to put on pictures so help please.
