)Did the CAD switch. Easy, painted red so I wouldn't forget I did it.
)Pulled the fuel tank and the fuel pump, order a new one, engine will turn over but not start. Pulling the fuel pump out. All the rubber in the tank had turned to goop and was just nasty sticky. That's what happens when you leave rubber submerged in the same gasoline for 10+ years.
)Switched dash out. Was super easy to do, only problem I broke the cancel cam shaft by sitting on it. Its only 20 year old plastic... Maybe I can fusion weld it.
)Got dumped on in 100+ degree rain storm.
)Pulled off the old lights on the light bar, can't figure out what they're wired to since there's no switch in the cab.
)Pulled off the retro bolted on flimsy brush guard bar thing on the front bumper.
)Pulled the radio and went over the wiring. I think its a newer radio that the original. Wrote down the wire locations and looking into something a little more modern.
)Inspected, poked, prodded, investigated everything done to the truck. Not a fan of the smithybuild bumper on the back from the early 90s. Seems some of the wiring is a little bubba'd, but not too bad.
Not bad for a few hours.... now to wait a week and do it again.
